Camp Jupiter discussion

Romulus entered the hosue and wlaked off to his personal office. He sat down at the desk abnd began to paly with his thumbs. He wa sin no mood for games, he expected Evan to give him the answers and now. he needed to ensure the safety of the camp as much as he hated Neptune he had to trust Evan and he awaited the moment that Evan would ask him for hsi assisteance in helping the camp, unfortuantely, both were stubborn and needed help from no one. he wnated to ensure the army outside of camp was goign to be taken out and he wnated Evan t ensure that each and every monster there was sent to tartarus.

Evan walked into the house. He walked into Romulus's office. "Where were we?" he asked him. He looked at Romulus and saw that he was in an annoyed mood. He had no time to make anything of it, he needed to prepare for the attack. He had to make sure that everyone was safe but yet still keep it hidden. The words of his prophecy rang in his ears.

Darkness seeks for the thrones
The king with a crown of shattered bones
Monsters in the plains of black
Numbers the hero camp does lack
He is prison to many and home to some
He cuts through foes that he makes numb
He seeks to see Olympus fall
And in it's ruin raise a shadowed hall

He remembered Apollo's words. You will take his army with your army but you must take the king alone. Anything that tries to stop that fate will be crushed in the path of leaders. He couldn't risk letting Romulus know about the true powers at play here he needed away to the world below but he needed to go alone.

Romulus nods for him to have seat, "We were discussing your battle tactics to ensure that we take down the army palced otuside of our boarders. there will be no way they cna find their way in here, givne the magic that protects us, but if they do we need to be prepared. I'll order as many troops to guard our boardrs as possible. I need to knwo your plans and what exactly is causing this to take palce. I thoguht after the giants were defeated we would have no mroe issues. It hasn't been long since then, but yet here we are faicng an enemy, do you ahve any ideas as to who it may be behidn all of this?"

"I have no ideas as to who is behind it." He lied. "As for my strategy like I was saying before..." He said putting down a small device that then projected a map of camp and surrounding areas. "I followed the last group of their scouts and they lead me to this location here." he said pointing. "I will lead my group through this channel in the mountains here." He indicated to the spot. "This will distract the monster army than we have the rest of our leggionnaires coming around here, here and here." He said indicating to 3 other locations. "We ambush them and they are too scattered and in dismay to put up a fight we will have them." He explained. "However we leave a small fraction of soldiers to guard camp with the lars. But I will tell you something we won't find any leader maybe a wisp of one but that is only if we are lucky." He said looking at Romulus deadly serious.

Romulus nods, "Very well, jsut tell me what I need to do and you have my blessing as you co-leader. I do advise we take at elast three prisoners and perhaps information can be gathered." He suggest lightly. He was ready for a simple battle and possible there would be no rela threat jsut a small gorup of monsters trying to get pay back.

"Romulus I think we should be careful I'm not sure. maybe hold out on the ambush give me time to scout again then I will signal you to get into positions." He suggested. "I will prepare the squad I will be going with. You prepare the rest of the troops and prepare our defences." he said. "And make sure the fauns don't get any Imperial gold equipment" he said with a smile and a wink.

Romulus nods charmingly, "Very well." He says palinly, "I got everything taken car eof let's sut make sure we get it right the first time and no mistakes are made. And Evan..." Teh look in hsi eyes showed concern, "Please be careful." He syas showing that eh truly did wish for him to ahve safety.

"Who me? I'm always careful." He said with a sly smirk and a wink. He walked out of the office and went to his room. He thought back to the times he and Romulus had fought together. He was unpredictable and unexpected he did things no one would have ever thought of. Romulus was the proper think it through type. They were complete opposites but thats what made them a good team. They brought out those qualities in each other. Evan put on his armour and it moulded to his clothes. He hoped he would come back. He walked out of the Praetor House and headed to New Rome.
