Have been looking at this book for a while. Little wary to buy it so I'll see if maybe my library has it :)

Yes, yes it does! I was kinda pleasantly surprised so that I could actually read all the books voted on this month lol

Ju (wraithlair) Read this a couple of months ago and although it does have its occasional surprising twists, for someone who's read quite a lot of fantasy it isn't exactly something brand new and original. Tension-filled kingdoms on the verge of war? Vengeful brothers? Rebellious teenage princess and an obvious magical villain? Been there, read that so I was hoping for a new take on it but alas.

The best thing about this book was the world's mythology though. You can really tell that Morgan Rhodes spent a lot of time poring over every little string in the fabric of this history and that's why it's so enchanting.
