Emerald hadn't ever seen an actual house in the city. She looked at Cole's house in awe

Cole got out and helped her out. He lead her to his front door. He opened the door "So do you want to sleep in my room and I will sleep on the couch?" he asked walking in after her and sitting on the couch.

"You mean and actual bed? I wouldn't want to be rude though. And if I sleep in an actual bed I may never get up." She said

"That's fine." Cole chuckled. "Come on I'll show you where to go." he grabbed her hand again and lead her to his room "You can sleep in some of my clothes." he pulled out some short and a shirt for her

"Um...ok. Where do I change at?" She asked. Usually what she would do was just change at the spot...but she figured that would be a bit awkward since there was a guy standing right in front of her.

"I will go back down stairs and you can change here." he smiled "You can go straight to bed or come back down if you want to. Up to you." he began to leave to go back down stairs.

Emerald nodded. When he had left, she slipped of her pant and put on his shorts, though they were a bit too big and she had to hold them up. So she slipped them off and just stuck with wearing her pants. She pulled off her shirt and put his on, they were also a bit big, but it was a shirt. She didn't care of the shirt was too big or not. She could live with it. She decided to go downstairs.

Cole slipped his shirt off as she was coming down the stairs. He sat back down on the couch and smiled at her.

"The shorts were a bit big." She said as she stood a few feet from him. She didn't know if she needed to tell him or not, but just incase he was wondering.

"I can get you a pair of my sisters shorts if you want." he looked at her

Emerald shakes her head. "It's fine. I wouldn't want to with out her permission." She says

"She wont mind." he insisted. "But if you don't want them then that's fine. Come sit." he smiled at her and patted the couch.

Emerald sat on the couch. She looked down at her fingers.

"You ok?" he watched her look down at her fingers. He wrapped his arm around her.

"Um yeah." She said and looked at him. "I've just never been in a house before." She admitted

Coles heart dropped when she said that. "Well considered this as your new home."

"Thanks." She said and have a small smile.

"Anything for you." Cole smiled and pulled her closer to him

Emerald's heart sped up. She had never been touched by anyone, yet somehow today out of all the days she is being held.

"What do you want to watch?" Cole asked. He kissed her forehead.

Emerald could've died right there. 'He kissed my forehead...'
'Yes Em...he did. Gold star for you for being able to tell what people can do!' Said a spirit.
Spirits....Emerald Nashe would have to tell him soon. "Um..." She said with a start

Cole smiled and started flipping through channels "We can rent a movie off of on demand if you want. That just means we can watch another movie." he tried to explain what renting a movie off of on demand ment.

"..." She had no idea how she was going to explain it to him. Should she just blurt it out? Or should she explain? "Do you have powers?" She asked instead, figuring it was best to start of with that.

"No. Do you?" he smiled and looked over at her.

She nodded and looked down. She didn't like her powers though.

"What kind?" he asked "I wish I had powers." she admitted.

"Dream walker." She sighed.

"What's that?" he had not clue what that was or what it could do

Emerald laughed. "I can hear spirits. I van see life numbers. I can see when someone is dying." She said to summarize everything.

"Wow. That sounds awesome." Cole smiled at her. "Can you tell how long someone has until they die?" he asked.

"Life numbers." She says and nods

"Wow. So you know when I'm gonna die?" he asked kind of freaked out

"If I wanted to." She said keeping her head down.

"Well let me guess, you don't want to do you?" he asked softly.

Emerald nodded. She hated looking at people's life numbers. She felt like she was invading their space, their time, themselves.

Cole nodded "Ok." He finally built up enough courage to kiss her. He gently kissed her on the lips.

Emerald gasped. But slowly she kissed him back.
'What, no thoughts on this?' A spirit mocked

Cole pulled back. "So you can have conversations with spirits?"

Emerald nodded, blushing wildly.

"What do you and the spirits talk about?" it was probably a stupid question but he wanted to know.

Emerald shrugged and looked up. "Anything really. Though most of the time they just mock me or try to start arguments." She said

"Oh interesting." he smiled at her. Cole yawned and looked over at her

"Are you tired?" She asked wondering if she should leave him alone

"Yeah but if you want to stay up and talk I will." Cole insisted.

"No. You should sleep." She said

"If your not tired then I will stay awake. I will be fine." be smiled.

"Ok." She said. "But I don't know what to talk about."

"Anything you want to talk about." he smiled at her.
