ROUND II: Team Hector
Spreadsheets
Master Spreadsheet
Spartacus Spreadsheet
Juba Spreadsheet
- Once all columns of a goal have been filled out a new goal will appear within 5 minutes.
- Do not change existing pages. You may add a new page to your spreadsheet if you want to track additional information.
- Mark books as used in your books list once they are used for a goal.
- Only books read during the current round may be applied towards goals, once the round has ended those books may no longer be used for a goal.
- Once you merge teams, you may use your books for your partner teams goals. List them in your books list and on their goals sheet. Mark them as used.
- If you end up with more than 3 open goals, contact a moderator for help.
Team Spartacus Goals:-> Read a book whose author (first or last) starts with W - Eni working on it
-> Read a book with a green cover
-> Read a book where a character is a lawyer
-> Read a book first published on the 31th of a month
Team Juba's Goals:
-> Read a book where a character is a vampire
-> Read a book that has fairies
-> Read a book that is in the Amazon 2010 bestsellers (http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/...)
I'm reading Amy, My Daughter by Mitch Winehouse which can be used for the 'W' author task, if needed. It'll take me a few days to read so if it doesn't get used for that goal, that's ok too.
:)
Hi new teamies from Juba! Look forward to playing with you :) So who's Hector?Completed
Long Time Gone by SE Jakes
246 pgs
Completed: 08.15.15
Rating: 3 stars
Goal: None
Started book for the lawyer task but it's more than 400 pgs long so if anyone has something shorter, please feel free!
Eni wrote: "i would rather be team Achilles... but i gotta say Hector is an awesome option as well =D"Sorry, Sonia wouldn't let me post without her being Achilles :)
I think she stayed up til 2am her time just to make sure it happened.
Current Juba Goals:Read a book that has fairies
Read a book that is in the Amazon 2010 bestsellers (http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/...)
Read a book with the main genre (listed on the first page on GR) as Contemporary
We have someone planning a fairies book already.
I can read Rework soonish.
If anyone finds something that works sooner feel free to overthrow the plans :)
Kelly the book I just finished - Long Time Gone - works for the Contemporary tag.So how is this going to work? If someone from Juba fills one of Spartus' goals, we just add it to the Goal tab only right?
I think the best plan is to put the attack points on the original teams thread then add the book to the correct goals sheet. We'll just have to be good about marking when books are used.I'll give Eni access to our spreadsheet.
Looks like these are the giraffe books from other teams so far:The Boy with the Painful Tattoo
Shaking the Sugar Tree
The Glass Castle
The Secret Zoo
Just FYI Kelly, I've been helping out Eni with the spreadsheet. It helped when she couldn't log on and especially since I usually finish/read later at night when she's not on.
We are now back down to 3 goals on the Spartacus side.I'm starting a book with a green cover now - should be done with it tomorrow!

Cathy Hector is Paris's brother. He tries to kill Achilles but ends up killing his Achilles nephew instead. So Achilles rages and challenges Hector and ends up killing him.
Paris is the one who falls in love with Helen of Greece, and they both run away to his hometown Troy. Which makes the whole Troy-Greece war. This is from the movie Troy :p

Amanda A finished our short stories goals. So now Juba has these:Read a book that has fairies
Read a book with a giraffe
Read a book with the phrase "all ears" in a book
I think someone's working on fairies.
I searched around a bit and found How (Not) to Find a Boyfriend
Page 192 "…by now supports the hope that not all news reaches all ears ..."

I'm looking at the 2015 bestseller's list to read tonight.
Just finished The Bourbon Kings which works for a W author J.R. Ward if you wanted to grab it. Not sure how close Eni or Jackie is on that one.
We can use yours Kelly since it's done now. We usually use whatever is done first :)Updated both spreadsheets.
This is the part where I wish I made the refresh time a bit faster. I didn't want google spreadsheets to start dying though like it's done before.
Kelly wrote: "This is the part where I wish I made the refresh time a bit faster. I didn't want google spreadsheets to start dying though like it's done before."Well waiting only a few minutes is no big deal :) You did an AMAZING job with these spreadsheets!
Cathy M. wrote: "Well waiting only a few minutes is no big deal :) You did an AMAZING job with these spreadsheets! "Heh, thanks. I'm mostly just glad they're working.
And "oh no!" The ironic goal :P
