I just started The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, and am on the story "A Case of Identity". I've never read any Holmes stories and have been delightfully surprised by how readable these little shorts are. I read
, which I cannot recommend highly enough if you like YA fantasy reads, it was beautifully written, thought provoking and engaging. Then I went straight into
, which was also awesome, and a fresh story with paranormal elements. I'm about a quarter into it's sequel that came out last Tuesday,
. (Had to post those covers, aren't they pretty?)
I finished The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison. Loved this one!!! So many things finally came together. I will be very sad that the next one is the last in the series. :(
A Memory of Light, The Bitter Kingdom, Dodger, and Cress are on my list... I am about 2/3 of the way though A Memory of Light and I have been slowly making my way through Mindy Kaling's book Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? for the last few months and I'm close to the end of that (it's all essays so it's easy to pick up during a bath or before bed or something and not worry that I'll lose the plot) so who knows if I'll actually make it through all that stuff. ^_^
