By the time Molly’s mother knew she was pregnant, she had already left her father–whoever he was. You see, Molly’s mother was a bit of a free spirit and, in such dismal times, she took pleasure wherever she could find it. So, with one little girl growing quickly and another one on the way, Molly’s mother decided to settle down, sort of. The trio never stayed in one place for longer than a few months so naturally they all grew quite close. Molly and her sister often worked together to get food or items to barter with. Their mother was never without a job to do, as she had extensive (extensive as it can be without proper schools) medical training.

The older the girls got, the more independent they became. Molly found her way easily in the dark, having learned over years of sneaking in and out of camps. She has acquired many skills, including a rudimentary knowledge of healing and carpentry. It was no surprise to her family when an aging mercenary took her under his wing. Though Molly had no interest in selling her skills, she was happy to have them on multiple occasions. Especially after her mother died suddenly of pneumonia and left the girls with alone. Since that time, Molly and her sister move almost constantly, often times only staying long enough to rest.
