What did you think? Did you like it as much as Ruin?

message 10: by Michelle (new)

Michelle I liked Ruin a lot better. But this one was good.

I really should have read Ruin again before I started this. I struggled a little to remember Gabe's personality and his character traits. I think I may go back and do that even after finishing Toxic. It may reveal more for me about his actions in this book.

Saylor was a sweet and very understanding woman. Gabe put her through the hoops and she still held strong. The more he pushed her away the stronger her personality became it was beautiful to read. I have to tell you that I did go through a few tissues near the end, it was very emotional wrap up.
I did enjoy revisiting Wes and Kiersten and their story. Wes is very swoon worthy for me. Lol, not that tattooed boy band rocker Ashton was not...
This book had a lot of "what the hell happened I just wanna know" moments and everything did fall into place bit by bit.
I feel like Lisa has her own story to tell that would be quite intriguing.(less)

Heather Williams (rucifey) | 67 comments I liked Ruin better, but I do wonder if I would have liked it more if I had reread Ruin first. I couldn't remember anything about Gabe at all.

Although this book really got me interested in reading Lisa's story. :-)
