What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I can't remember a book a read and am hoping you might have an idea what it is. A man specifically hires a girl at his (I think) real estate company and they go to lake Cuomo because he owns a house there but they're looking at the property next door because he also wants to buy that. The reason he hired this girl is because she is related to his neighbor he wants to buy the house from and he can keep an eye in everything. He needs to buy the house for his father because they're a part of this society that left things in that house he doesn't want seen. Also obviously the main two characters get together and she leaves him because she finds out the truth that he was using her.

Brittany, are you referring to Lake Como in Italy? When was this published or when did you read it? What genre is it - romance, thriller, mystery, straight literary fiction, other?

Yes sorry I belie it's lake como. Someone else that read it too stated that location. I thinks it's romance/chick lit. Fiction. I read it last year
