She's the one who has her friends following her around everywhere, the one who has to fix her make up every spare moment she gets, the one who is cute and sweet to those she wants to be to and a b*tch to those she doesn't get along with. Raine is rather devious and cunning in her ways. She likes getting what she wants and will make sure things go the way she wants them to go. She is very judgmental to those she does not know yet and is sassy to those she does not particularly like. She may seem like an air head but she is actually pretty observant. When she wants something, she will plan out in her head how she will get it and who she will have to deceive or hurt to get it. She doesn't think before she does things and is very impulsive. She can be seen as selfish as she doesn't really think about how her actions can affect others or what might result later on because of the plans that she comes up with. She likes to gossip and can stab others in the back if she has a grudge on you. Warning: Don't get on her bad side or you will regret it. Raine is good at holding grudges and never forgets if someone has done something that she didn't like. She will get you back one way or another. It might take a while but that's only because she planning precisely how to get back at you. You have been warned.

Yes, she can say some things that aren't the nicest but she does have a soft side to her. She is very out going and will be there to stick up for those she cares about. She has been a victim of her siblings' torment and cruel words so, she knows how it feels. She can be snobbish but doesn't go too far. She has learned to stick up against her siblings when they comment on her appearance because she knows that she is still beautiful even with her imperfections but she doesn't show this kind side of her to everyone. It usually always comes as a surprise when some new camper is getting picked on and she strides over to spit back insults in the bully's face. Many just see her as another Aphrodite daughter who only cares about materialistic things.
Not a lot of people can handle Raine but the select few that can are the ones who understand that her blunt humour isn't always used to insult others but to make others laugh. Yes, she can be mean and isn't the most considerate person on the planet but she is actually quite protective of the people she cares about. She is far more intelligent than she lets on and she, herself, doesn't even know the extent of her intelligence. She is also a girl who breaks under pressure easily and part of the reason why she is the way she is, is because of the people she has hung out with in the past. If she were to hang out with different types of people, the best of her could shine through.

Raine grew up in a huge family. Her father quickly married after her mother had her and then left them during the night. It only took her father a few years to find "the one" and then marry her. Lorraine was 3 when her father married her step mom but she doesn't know anything different so her step mother is just like a real mother to her. Her mom had been in a previous marriage and brought with her 3 boys. Raine's father and mother soon had a daughter together, making their family even more chaotic than before. Lorraine grew up with 3 older brothers and a younger sister. She always looked up to her older brothers and wanted to do whatever they did. If they were playing football, she wanted to play football. If they were playing video games, she would want to play too. As a young child, Raine was a tomboy and didn't like hanging out with other girls her age but as she got older, she soon became interested in dolls, dresses, and make up. She and her younger sister would play dress up a lot but Raine still maintained a close relationship with her brothers. They taught her how to be tough and stick up for herself, which ensured her a spot on the football team at school and helped her to brush off the cruel comments that were sent her way from time to time for Raine had a skin disorder. When she was young, light spots began to form on her skin. Her father brought her to the doctor, who confirmed that Lorraine had Vitiligo, a skin condition characterized by portions of her skin losing their pigmentation. She received treatment and still does. At first she was very upset and afraid of the reactions of other people around her. She feared that people would stare whenever she went in public and they do but now she just ignores it. She began to love her skin and herself and even though she still received some mean comments, she'd just shrug it off. Lorraine's life consisted of hanging out with friends, doing schoolwork, playing football and shopping. She had a great life up until she was found by a satyr and quickly had to say goodbye to her family. She promised them she would be safe and would see them as soon as she could. She was brought to camp and had a hard time settling into the groove of things. She has only been at camp for a couple months and still hasn't quite come to terms with everything.
