With St. Patrick's Day approaching, this month's challenge is to read a book about Irish characters or a book set in Ireland. This book can be fiction or non-fiction.

Please comment below--we'd love to hear about what you've read!

I read An Irish Country Doctor by Patrick Taylor. I liked the story and look forward to reading more about the two doctors in subsequent books. I appreciated the author including a glossary of Irish words and phrases so I could more completely understand the tone of the book.

Other books set in Ireland that I like: "A Week in Winter" and "The Copper Beech," both by Maeve Binchy and "My Lady Judge" by Cora Harrison
