Rules & How to play:

⇉ Pick an option below. Repeat as desired.
⇉ All media formats allowed.
⇉ Rereads are fine as long as you read the entire book.

Challenge Levels:

MARGHERITA  ⇉ 2 - 5 books
CALZONE:          ⇉ 6 - 10 books
STROMBOLI:    ⇉ 11 - 15 books
MARINARA:      ⇉ 16 - 20 books
DEEP DISH:      ⇉ 21+ books

Option #1: Using the spell-it-out rules(*), spell any pizza topping of your choice.

Example:
B - The Golden Lily from the Bloodlines series
A - Abigail Roux, author of Shock & Awe
C - Cameron Fletcher from Sixty Five Hours
O - The Once and Future King
N - Never Fade

Option #2:Use words in the title to make your own pizza. (can be plural or singular)

Example:Cheese, Tomatoes and Olives

Option #3:Use covers to make your own pizza(can be plural or singular)

Example:Chocolate and apples(a dessert pizza)

Option #4:Use ingredients found within the book to make your own pizza.

Example: Tomato & Onions

- “Cambodian society had as many layers as an onion and every time a layer was peeled back an odour attached to the fingers and the eyes began to smart.”

Option #5:Choose the toppings for your pizza. Then read books where the main color of the cover (30%) matches the color of the ingredient.

Example:Tomatoes (Red), Broccoli (Green), Sweet Corn (Yellow) and Mushrooms(White)

(*) HOW A "SPELL-IT-OUT" WORKS:
Spell out the word(s) using the first letter in the book's title, the first letter in the author's first or last name, or the first letter of a character's first, last, or nick-name, or the first letter of the series name. As always, if the first letter of a title starts with an indefinite or definite article ('A', 'An', 'The', etc.), you may use the first letter of the second word in the title to spell out your chosen word.

Giordano's in Chicago is known for it, and it's really good. Now that I don't eat wheat, and have moved out of state, it's been years since I had any.

However, I am also a big fan of ham and pineapple, so I'm glad to see so many others here are too. ;-)

Now I don't think I've ever seen pizza with pineapple here either. But to be honest, didn't look much.

It could be country thing.

My fave is cheese with cheese and more cheese. :)

@Tea, cheese is a very popular flavor. Where I live the ham and pineapple is called a Hawaiian style pizza. I like to add jalapeno peppers to it as well. However, cheese, sausage and pepperoni are the most common pizzas here.

I'll join in! I choose Option #5. I'm kind of a visual gal:)
