Rose walked through the canyon, looking for a high and aqueduct place to practice her jumps and landings.
Adrian sat at the canyon. He wanted to see the views everyone so highly told him about. To see the colors so beautifully potrade.
Rose glanced towards the sun, and saw what seemed to be the silhouette of a person just admiring the view. But her senses kicked in. It wasn't a human. It was a supernatural. She wandered in closer to see if she could identify this mysterious vampire.
Adrian did not turn around when he heard footsteps. He already knew that someone was coming from the sound of the ground. He put on his most daring smile, for when the figure stepped closer he knew right away who it was... His little Dhampir.
Rose groaned when she realized who this silhouette belonged to. None other than the famous Adrian Ivashov. But now it was far to late to turn back, for she could tell when he moved his head in the slightest, he saw her.
"Why so upset little Dhampir?" he smiled. He did not look at her but only patted a sit next to him for her to sit down. "If you came here looking for Stirgi, there aren't any." he laughed.
A ghost of a smile played at her lips but she didn't laugh. She instead sat down and didn't say a word. Only Adrian could make a joke out of the deadliest creatures.
"Belikov not good enough of a training partner?" He raised an eyebrow and turned slightly to face her. He decided later he would visit her. She only thought it was a dream so no harm done.
"Nah, he's fine, just teaches too slowly." She says with a wave of her hand. That was the cold hard truth and the one and only thing she hated about having Dimitri as a training partner and instructor. She already hated having instructors or teachers at all, so this issue was hard enough for her to deal with.
He shrugged his shoulders and looked out in the canyon,"I wonder who ever taught him. I mean really how do you think he knows all of this stuff." He shook his head speaking out loud. "Anyway how is my dear old Cousin?" he asked changing the subject. He really did despise Damitri.
Her eyes flickered thoughtfully over the almost immediate change of topic. "Lissa? She's great. Frustrated over her elemental practice classes as usual. Nothing new with us." She tries to disclose as much information as possible because she wasn't sure if Adrian knew that they weren't boarding at St. Vladimir.
"Why us? I fine expect that you want magical powers as well." He smirked. He loved talking to Rose. To him their was never a dull moment.
"Of course I do!" She exclaims, surprised. She then mutters lowly afterwards, although she knows Adrian will hear, "To use against you." She then talks about strigoi, "And then I'd use my powers to go on a strigoi killing rampage."
"Of course. I expected nothing less from Rose Hathaway." He chuckled and shook his head. He stood up and started to paise. "Rose do you know what I specialized in?" He smiled and walked behind her.
Rose turned around quickly, not sure what Adrian was going to do. "Um, spirit?" She guesses hopefully, unsure what else.
Adrian stopped. she knew? How is that possible? he wanted to continued playing his game. So he changed the rules. "I don't know what that is? But back to what I was saying. I never specialized. And if my memory surves right neither has Lisa. Why is that?" He planted a hand on a rock the was beside rose.
Rose nodded, "Lissa hasn't specializedm in anything yet. We have suspicions she might have the rare 5th element. Only 2 other people are known to have it." She snapped her fingers suddenly. "Ah ha!" She says triumphantly.
"Oh yes. The smart beautiful Rose figured it out." he shook his head. A grin never leaving his face. "It took you long enough." He sat down once more. "You would think with all of those dream you would figure it out by know." He muttered not caring if she heard him.
She gave him a 'shut that piece of crap you call a mouth'. "Yeah? Well I betcha if I could figure out how you Moroi learn powers, I could teach myself," she says, although she knows the idea is rubbish and impossible.
"Oh yes. I'm sure you would learn magic. Why not fire? It helps kill stirgi." He said going with her game. "Why don't we get out of her? I'm tried of siting in this cavern." He said standing up. he held out a hand to her.
"That, it would," she agrees. But it's impossible, she thinks miserably. She quickly takes his hand, which felt...spirit like. The way a fire Moroi's hand felt warm, a water's wet.
Adrian looked at her aura trying gauge her mood. It was a light green which meant she was thinking. "What are you thinking about little Dhampir?" He said pulling her up from the rock. She was a few inches from him. They could breath the same air.
She shook her head briefly, "Nothing," she says, trying to keep her tone of voice as normal as possible. It was a good thing that Adrian couldn't read her thoughts. Being able to read her aura was bad enough for her.
"What embarrassed of the great Ivashkov?" He said triumphantly. He was still holding onto her hand. He didn't want to let go of her. "Rose you might as well tell me. I mean come on. Who am I going to tell that will believe me?"
She hesitated a loooooooooooooooooong time. "Just nevermind it, it wasn't about anything important." She says sharply. Shes tries to keep thinking that.
"I know it's bothering you what is it?" He wasn't going to stop he wanted to know.
She hung her head, "Just that I can never have majick," she mumbles.
"Hey," he felt as if he was the one to help. "What greater power than the all powerful Rose Hathaway?" He smiled at we and confidently raised a hand to her cheek.
She looked up and could only smile. "Yea, I guess."
"You don't know how disarming you are to people. Mentally and physically." He smiled and brought his hand town. "So back to St. Vlads?" He let go of her and put his hands in his pockets.
Rose shook her head quickly. She and Lissa were secretly renting a house with some humans in order to stay away from St. Vladimirs. "Nope- not yet."
((Sorry, but no, b/c Adrian doesn't actually find out until they come back in the books))
((Lol okay I wanted know.))
"Why not? Any way if you wanted to run away you could have gone to my house." He smiled and looked at her in a provocative way.
((Can you check out my mod application?))

((I have- I'll chat it over with Hayley))
"But we don't like St. Vlad's, and you know it." She says suddenly, then she claps a hand over her mouth, having just realized what she said.
"But we don't like St. Vlad's, and you know it." She says suddenly, then she claps a hand over her mouth, having just realized what she said.
"I do. Ya it's hectic but, I mean its the best place for her right now. Beside what you believe." He knew what spirit could do to a person.
"It's not the hecticness. It's just that both me and Lissa are getting really overwhelmed with our practices and expectations."
"Yes I'm sure that's exactly what's going on." He shook hi head. "Where ever you are do you want me to go back with you?"
"No. No. You just can't. They'll get too suspicious." By 'they'll' she meant the humans Lissa and her were currently renting with.
"I can just compel I mean its not that bad you could say I'm your boyfriend." He smiled taking her hand.
"Come on Rose." He took his other hand and rested it on her cheek brining her face closer. "Let yourself have some fun." His lips were inches from hers.
"I do have fun. In fact, I almost got kicked out of the school." She thinks exactly how many times, "2 times now."
"That's not what I meant little Dhampir." His tone was serious. He looked into her eye longingly before he backed away.
"So were do we go then." he said not letting go of her hand.
She shrugs, "I dunno because I need to look for Lissa."
"Should I help?" he wanted to but he didn't know how far their secret went. "I mean if you want me to. I don't have to."
"No thank you. At this point it's better if you just don't."
"We'll I could take you out to eat somewhere or something?" He kicked at the rocks. He look out at the colorful rocks. "Look rose. The reds and yellows, how they mix... I could paint that."
