Derrick was just getting off work, when he decided to give Elena a call. This was typical by now. They have been together for almost a year now, but he knew she was definitely the one. He dialed her number and sat in his car, waiting for her to answer.
"Nothing, just got off work. I thought about coming over, are you home?" he asked with his finger cruised on the other end of the phone
"Oh, I love you so much" he told her as he rubbed his belly at the thought of her amazing tacos
"I'm in my car, but not driving yet. You know how I am" he said, knowing that she knew that he didn't use his cellphone as he drove
He was going to say something, but she hung up. He sighed, but a smile was still on his face. He started his car and drive to her house.
By that time, he was pulling up into her driveway. After talking with her neighbor for a minute, he rung her doorbell
"Of course I did" he said kissing her back and walked inside and immediately the smell hit him and his stomach growled
"You're the best" he told her as he sat in his favorite seat, which was the recliner and took a huge bite. He closed his eyes and melted into his food
"Hey!" He did up and hugged her. "What news?" he asked curiously and took another byte of his taco
He raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Okay?" he says with a nervous laugh
"uhhh... Wow.." He said with a look of unexpected shock. "Yeah, I do believe we need to talk" he told her as he lead her into their bedroom and shoot the door behind him.
"Well, since you're already talking about children, why don't we take this another step." He told her with a smile and got down on one knee. He pulled out a beautiful ring and held it up to her. "Will you marry me?" he asked as he looked into her eyes
"Then let's make a family!!" He told her as he picked her up into a hug and spun her around, laughing
"I wanted to make a family with you" he runs her as he sat her down and kissed her lips softly

"It does matter" he told her sternly. "If we're going to be married, we need to decide together on these things." He told her
"then let's start now. Tonight" He told her with a smile
"I'm totally sure" he said with a smile
"but my doctor warned me about heavily lifting" he told her jokingly and laughed slightly himself
"No you're not" he laughed and scored her up into his arms and carried her into the kitchen
He say her down and picked up his plate again and continued to eat.
"Yeah" he told her with a nervous laugh and remembered something. "Oh yeah, how are you and that uh... James guy doing?" hee asked her
"I can go beat him up if you like?" he suggested with a smile, trying to get her you smile back
"What?!?" he gave her a stern look and clenched his fists.. He looked over at his girl.. "Did you know about this?!?"
"I'll be back" he told her simply before putting his sites back on and walked out, stepping into his car
After a couple hours, He returned. He a couple knots on his head and his eye was slightly black, but that was nothing compared to the breathing he gave James.. He walked inside with badly bruised knuckles and he was a little bloody. "He won't be hurting you anymore." He told her as he walked into the bathroom
"I beat the mortal hell out of him" hee told her and winced slightly as she began cleaning his hands
"You know better than to worry about me." He told her with a smile and kissed her back
"He's weak. I fought wise than him. Hell, I've even lost a couple." He told her with s laugh and yawned
"Look, in sorry, but I had to." He told her softly and walked into the kitchen
"I'll be back in a few" he told her
Minutes later, he did the same. He laid beside her and snuggled up closer to her
"I love you.. More than you'll ever know"
