Robb Aaron O'Malley looked out of the train window, his stomach was in knots as he sat there in the cushioned seat. He was taking his girlfriend, Tessa, to meet his family. They had met at boarding school and had been dating for about 9 months, it was finally summer so they were on Holiday together for the summer. He'd offered to take her home for a bit and then maybe they could go somewhere else for the rest of their time off, now he was regretting the idea altogether. He hadn't mentioned to Tessa that his family had been busy putting in a dirt road to their home for the past couple of months just for her arrival. Robb had gotten overly wary of taking her to his home by horse back or carriage when he took her to meet his family, so they were allowing a pretty good road to be put in. No it wasn't paved but it would be stabled and maintained regularly. At least this way they could get there by car.... he had warned Tessa though that there wasn't electricity or cell phone towers or anything like that where they were going. It was a rural part of Scotland that seemed to be stuck in the middle ages sometimes. There was thankfully a town only six hours away by horseback, it had a payphone at the Tavern, so families would go once a week or so and call family or friends that had moved away. It was all very backward sounding he was sure, but Tessa seemed to be looking at it all as an adventure and looked like she was kind of excited. Robb didn't see his princess fitting in, but he figured if she could deal with him then she could deal with his family for at least a week. Honestly that was the longest amount of time that he could see her lasting without her technology. Robb wouldn't be surprised if she caved after the first day, a smile tugged at his lips as he imagined Tessa being chased by chickens, yeah this would be an interesting trip. He glanced to his side where she was sitting, "I love you." He said to her simply, and she had to love him to be taking on his family. "If you feel like you can't handle any of this at any time just tell me and we'll leave, we'll go to Florence or something," His family had a villa there.

Tessa Madeline LaVant sat up very straight next to her boyfriend of 9 months, Robb. She was feeling sort of nervous, there were butterflies swirling around in her stomach. She was on a train, headed to see Robb's family, to stay with them for some time. She wasn't sure how it was going to work, really. There was no electricity, no cell phone service, it was basically little house on the prairie. But Tessa knew she would be okay, because she had Robb. And if Robb lived that way, then she could to, she just needed to prove that to herself and to Robb and his family too. She needed to prove that she was good enough for Robb. She sat next to him wearing a more conservative outfit, at least for her. She was wearing a black dress, one that was a tad bit longer than her usual hemline. The neckline was a swear heart, and there were straps on it, triangle sort of straps. She paired it with a think black headband, plenty of chunky gold bracelets, and black ballet flats. She looked over at Robb and smiled at him "I love you too," she said, scooting closer to him on the train seats. "And I'm not going to need to Robb, I can do this. I brought enough makeup to last me a month. Seriously. And I've found a way that my hair looks good without straightening it or curling it. See?" She asked, fluffing her hair at him. It was straight, but it allowed people to see the definition of blonde and brown in her hair. She leaned her head on Robb's shoulder "I really think I can do thud babel she promised.

Robb kept the chuckle that was threatening to bubble up out of his throat to himself, he knew she wouldn't appreciate it. She really thought she could do this, well he hoped for her sake that she could. BEcause he knew that his family could be overbearing at times, and he didn't want them scaring her off. He kissed the top of her silky head, "I'll be here for you the whole time," He promised. Robb looked over her dress, oh she was in for a big surprise when they got to the castle. He himself was dressed in jeans and a button down cotton shirt, the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, and his curly hair was how it always was, a mess. Robb had tried to talk Tessa into jeans or a more... sturdy dress. But she wouldn't have it, something about not looking like a peasant in front of his parents or something, she had also informed him that she was already dumbing her dress down for him. Which was utterly ridiculous sounding to him, but he didn't waste his breath arguing over fashion sense with his girlfriend. Tessa was a force to be reckoned with, if she wasn't so sassy and fiery, he wouldn't have ever even have considered bringing her to Scotland to meet the family. Robb wasn't the type of guy to play around when it was so close to him being an adult, he needed to be in a serious relationship, and in his opinion him and Tessa were pretty serious. HE planned on proposing to her over the summer. Though his family said that it was too soon and might scare the girl off, Robb assured them that if he got a big enough rock from Tiffany's, a jewelry store she seemed to love, then she was sure to say yes to him. They didn't understand half of what he was talking about though so he didn't try explaining any further. He just hoped she lasted long enough so that he could propose to her in front of his family and closest friends.

Tessa nodded knowingly "Robbbb I know, you've told me that about a thousand times since we've been on this train." She pointed out to him, giving him a look with her big blue eyes. She started to think about what it would be like to meet them, Robb's family. They were obviously important to him, so Tessa needed to make a good first impression. Shed packed plenty of skinny jeans and cute tops in her bag, and looked warily over at her first serious boyfriend. All the other boys shed been with were just for fun, but Robb was more than that, he made her a better person, brought out the best in her. "Do you think I should change? Will they like me?" She asked, half turning in her seat to look into his sweet brown eyes. "When we go into the house do I have to courtesy to them?? I really don't know what to do and we still have a bit of time, help me out." She said, grabbing onto Robb's hand and encasing it in her own hands. She was just terrified that she would mess it all up, loose Robb forever. She couldn't let that happen, she needed him.

Robb smiled one of his rare smiles, though they seemed to be becoming more frequent with Tessa around. "You do not have to curtsy, you're fine. They're going to love you, just don't laughing my dads in a kilt. It's sort of traditional and my family is big on tradition. If you want to change you can but if you prefer the dress then stay in it till we arrive. You'll probably want to change once we get there, just because it's summer doesn't mean that the castle won't be a bit chilly still." He almost added that she would be in her own room at his parent, but he didn't want to scare her too much yet so he left that part out. His parents could not know they'd made out or anything, hand holding was acceptable and once he proposed other affections would be permitted. Ugh sometimes tradition was a big pain. Of course if he really wanted to push it he could point out that their ancestors were very passionate people and surely they showed their affections freely. He didn't want to upset his mother too much though. "We can't kiss in front of my parents," he said very quietly, half hoping she wouldn't even hear him, Tessa was anything bit traditional. At least she wasn't in the ways his family was. He loved her though, her personality and attitude intrigued him, as well as irritated him at times. It was never dull in their relationship and he loved that about them. They could be in the middle of an argument and they would just look at each other and burst out laughing, and everything would be forgotten as they fell in love all over again. At least that was how Robb saw it.

(Good lord they really are hubby and wife material)
Tessa listened to Robb and let out a soft sigh "yeah sureeee they will. You would say that anyway.." She said, feeling like here was a ball of lead in her stomach. She was just glad they weren't going to her parents homes. They had gotten a divorce three months ago, and both had invited her to bring Robb by, as a way to try and be her favorite parent. Tessa wasn't having it though, both parents would rip Robb apart for how traditional, and somewhat innocent to modern ways, he was. Tess nodded "I think I'll change, I should redo the whole look." She declared, her features set. She dragged her big bag into her lap from the seat beside her an unzipped it, inside she had two different , more country outfits to pick from. She was deep in thought, but her head snapped up when she heard Robb say that the two of them couldn't kiss. "We cant?? Huh." She said, something sparking in her eyes "I guess we should get our fix while we have time, then." She said, a grin appearing on her face. She leaned towards Robb and pressed her warm, moist lips against his, practically forgetting everything ahead of her. It was just Robb in that moment, nothing else.

Robb just shook his head at her as she grabbed one of her bags, it apparently had some clothes in it. She would probably change twenty times before they arrived at his parents home if he would let her, which he would not. Robb would allow this one wardrobe change, but after that he would not let her, because it was Tessa. She was always changing and thinking she had to do more to herself, and really she just needed to be herself with his family, they would love her gumption and spirit as much as he did, Robb was sure of it. Tessa went quiet for a moment after he announced there would be no kissing in front of his parents, though he could already imagine them sneaking kisses between doorways, hear her laughter as they broke away, hell she was going to be the end of him if she ever left him. He was so in love with her it was ridiculous. Then she was speaking and leaning in, her soft, beautiful lips were touching his, and all thought but kissing her was gone. He put a hand to her cheek, his thumb traced her cheek bone as he deepened the kiss between them. Robb's heart started beating faster, tingles erupted across his body, this always happened when they were intimate. He would get quite twitterpated with Tessa, and she seemed to feel the same way about him. Robb was just putting his free hand to Tessa's waist when an announcement came over the speakers, it was announcing that they would be arriving at their last stop, their stop, in ten minutes. Robb broke the kiss but kept his forehead against Tessa's, "If you're going to change you'll want to do that now love."

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa grinned at him when he started to kiss back, pushing her lips harder against his, telling him through her soft pink lips just what she was feeling. It was love, a scorching, dopey love that consumed Tessa, even when she wasn't by his side. Tessa was absorbed into the kiss, feeling it throughout her skin and bones, when an announcement interrupted them, telling them that they would be arriving in ten minutes. Tessa let out a soft sigh, looking up at Robb "you're right..." She said, untangling herself from him and standing up with he bag. She walked to the small bathroom and closed the door behind her, taking off her dress and accessories and pawing through the bag she brought with her. She only had time for one change, so she had to pick the right things. She had two pairs of jeans; one light washed with rips, one dark washed. Two tops; a pink pin striped button down, and a black peplum tank top. She glared at the items, she should've put better things in her carry on. Huh. She picked the pink striped shirt first, and buttoned it into her form, leaving three buttons undone for some femininity. Then she ended up picking the darker washed skinny jeans, slipping them on awkwardly in the tight space. She rolled up the sleeves of the shirt to hush below her elbow and then slipped on beige pumps; she couldn't deal with flats, she kept tripling in them. Next she placed two simple Alex and Ani bracelets on her left wrist. She finished the look by brushing out her blonde hair and twisting a small piece of it, then pulling it to the side if her head and clipping it into place. She looked herself over and let out a soft sigh, good. She packed up all her hings and headed back out to Robb, her footsteps clicking once again. She looked at him just before sitting down "This is much better".

Robb watched as she pouted some, but she grabbed her bag and headed down the aisle of the train towards the bathrooms. Robb tucked their snacks away into his own bag, threw their trash into a trashcan right down the aisle, returned to their seats and checked to make sure they weren't forgetting anything. It looked like everything was in order, he had all of his things packed, their snacks, her purse was next to his leg, she had her carry on bag with her, so everything was set. He looked out the window, the deep green of Scotland lay before him, he could see a town looming in the distance, it was a decent sized town, the biggest one you would find anywhere near where he lived. He was entranced with being so close to home that he didn't hear Tessa return, it was only when she spoke that he turned towards her and smiled approvingly at her choice of clothes. The only thing that didn't really go with his life style was the shoes, but he had bought her some good, leather, with a bit of heal, boots. They were specifically for rough terrain, but looked fashionable for women like Tessa. Finally he could really call her a woman, they'd both graduated and would be attending schools in New York City in the Fall. His own parents weren't too happy with him going to a school so far from home, but he wanted to. It would be a good experience, and he could get an apartment in the city, he was actually fairly excited about the whole thing. "You look gorgeous, we're about to pull in to the station. I put all of our things away, so we should probably go ahead and walk down the aisle and wait near the doors. Then I'll grab our bags and we can look for the driver."

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa nodded to him and went to stand up "Sounds good to me." She said, grabbing her purse and carry on bag. Robb would probably try to take the bag for her, but hey she could at least try to do things for herself. Not that she didn't like Robb carrying her things, she actually really loved it, but still. She looked at his excited face and took his hand "Come on, I can tell how excited you are to be here." She said, a grin appearing on her face for her boyfriend. And he wasn't the only excited one, Tessa had never been to Scotland before, especially not the gorgeous countryside they were headed towards. She couldn't wait to experience it all, to see what it would be like where Robb lived, to see how he got to be who he was. She walked up the isle of the train behind him, letting him lead her as he liked to, and then stood next to the door with him, watching out the window of the train. Green, rolling hills were all she could see for miles. She saw a little town too, like a third of the size of her mothers apartment building in New York, if it was laid out. "It looks so charming." She chirped excitedly, her eyes on Robb for a moment.

Robb was just about to grab Tessa's carry on bag, but the stubborn chit grabbed it herself and started moving down the aisle. Leaving Robb no choice but to sling his bag over his shoulder and to follow her down the aisle before someone jumped between them. Not that there were than many people on board anymore. Robb stood beside her next to the doors, the train was moving at a much slower speed by that point, slowing down to a stop. "It's very rustic," Robb replied to her charming statement, he really hoped she wouldn't use those kinds of words in town, or to his parents, more than likely they would take offense. Oh this was going to be an interesting trip indeed. Robb winked at Tessa as he caught her look, "Well Tess, we're here," He announced as the train doors whooshed open, a wooden platform stood before them, and it wasn't very big, a handful of people waited by the small building behind the platform. Robb stepped down and then held out his hand for Tessa to take so he could help her down, the wind whipped around them. The air was warm, but the wind had a bit to it. He wondered if the car would have heat, honestly he had no idea what kind of car his father had bought, he just hoped it wasn't something so cheap and old that it would leave them stranded in the middle of the Scottish countryside. Once Tessa was on solid ground Robb went off to find their luggage, one of the conductors was pulling it all out from underneath. It didn't take long to spot his and Tessa's bags, they were really the only ones there besides a few small bags. Tessa didn't travel light though, so it was easy to spot hers. Robb had one large suitcase, he gathered them all into a pile and then glanced around. An older gentleman that he recognized was coming towards him with a trolley, "George!" Robb said with surprise in his voice, as well as delight. Robb and George shook hands, "I didn't know you would be the one picking us up. Good to see you," He helped George load the trolley up, the whole time George was talking about his sisters were raising a ruckus trying to modern things for his girlfriend, and how his father was fighting them tooth and nail. A grin was on the older gentlemans face the entire time. Robb just chuckled and finally stood up once everything was loaded, "That," He nodded toward Tess, damn she was gorgeous, "Is Tessa." He announced, George looked towards the girl, he smiled broadly and informed Robb he'd done good, then told him to get his girl they were going to the car. Robb was wary about seeing the car, but didn't comment about it, he went over to Tessa. "Ready?" He asked her and tucked her free hand into his arm, "That's George by the way, he's our family butler. Amazing man, know him my whole life. I know you'll like him, he has a cheeky sense of humor." Robb began taking her towards a car that George was loading up with their bags, it was one of the new Range Rovers, black, it was sleek and nice looking. It would definitely be able to handle the terrain they would be going over as well, Robb nodded approvingly. "Father picked well," He murmured and opened a back door for Tessa.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa stepped off of the train in her heels and felt a chill from the wind sweeping through the wooden station. It wasn't a very modern place, no, Tessa could tell that from the rust on the benches and the painted signs, hanging from chains to direct patrons through the very small place. Tessa took a few steps while Robb went off to find their bags, her big blue eyes taking in the scenery that surrounded her. She had honestly thought places like that one only existed on postcards, after going through tons of Photoshop and edits. But there it all was, the classic Scottish scene. Tessa's blonde locks blew gently in the chilly wind, bringing her back to the reality of the situation. She looked around for Robb, and found him standing with an older man, smiling and looking at her, Tessa smiled back and waved at the two, then watched as the man left, and Robb walked closer to her. She met him halfway and looped her arm through his, leaning her mouth towards his ear. "This place looks like something out of Lord of The Rings, it's so pristine. Like this is some kind of fairy infested place isn't it?" She asked him, her eyes bright at the thought of a brand new experience, a brand new place to be in. She nodded about George, he did seem nice. He walked quickly in his older age, leaving Tessa and Robb to follow him up to a sleek black car, one that could easily handle tough roads. Tessa wondered for a moment what was ahead of her, but decided not to worry. Instead she held a finger up to Robb and walked up to the butler, tapping his shoulder once and then sticking her hand out to shake when he looked up to her "It's nice to meet your George." She said, eager to meet and learn about everyone that Robb loved.

Robb chuckled, she would be the only person to think it was something out of Lord of the Rings, honestly he was surprised she even knew what that movie was. Surprised and proud, most girls didn't take that big of an interest in a movie like that. Personally he loved the books. Robb was about to help her into the car when Tessa broke away, Robb was confused at first, then he watched as Tessa introduced herself to George, George looked up and seemed to be surprised, but the older gentleman bent down and kissed the back of her hand and introduced himself to Tessa, then proceeded to tell her that she was a brave woman to be with a man like Robb, that he snored loudly and could be a bit bossy, then he asked her if she knew that. Before Tessa had a chance to answer Robb was gathering her in his arms and telling George, "Hey now lets not discuss all my faults in one place." He was laughing the entire time though as he settled Tessa in the backseat, he climbed in after her. George would drive them, or so Robb assumed. "I don't snore that loud," He muttered and tried to put a stern expression on his face, of course it failed miserably because Robb was too excited about everything. "I really hope my family doesn't tell you every fault I have upon meeting them, otherwise this is going to be a hell trip for me." Robb gave Tessa a kind of pouty face, it was the first time the Scot had ever tried to do it, so he wasn't sure if he pulled it off or not. George closed the back, and then went to the front, he climbed in the drivers seat and put on some calming Celtic music before he started to drive, slowly, through the village. He informed the young couple that he would pick up speed once they were out of the town.

message 15: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa grinned at either and giggled as he spoke of Robb's snoring habits. Of course Tessa already knew about them, shed taken naps with Robb before, always on a couch in one of their dorms. Shed heard him snore before, it wasn't THAT bad, but the bossiness, on the other hand, was crippling. She shook her head though, telling him that no, she didn't know about how Robb snored. According to Robb they had to be the perfect chaste couple... She looked to Robb, while she was laughing hysterically. He was already pulling her back to the car though, making her sit down. She stopped laughing and just smiled at him, a cheeky, teasing grin. Then he gave her puppie dog eyes and she groaned, "I know you don't snore that badly, ya doof." She whispered to him, kissing his cheek sweetly. His puppy dog eyes didn't make her feel guilty, but they were cutely stupid looking on the rugged Scotsman.

He was glad that the puppy dog thing seemed to wrok, he didn't want her thinking all kinds of bad things about him. The music George put on helped him relax some, "So what do you want to do first when we get there? Sleep? Put things away? Eat? Talk? Whatever you want to do that's what we'll do Tess." His eyes were on her one minute, and then they were pulled to the window behind her, Robb took hold of her hands, and before she could reply to him he was pointing out the window. "Look," He breathed, they were finally out of the village and were in the countryside. Summer was truly one of the best times to visit, everything was so green, and blooming, the wild animals were out, enjoying the weather as much as the humans. They passed a family of rabbits that were gnawing on some sort of flower, the fields were such a bright green that you would almost think it was fake, there were crumbling old stone walls, history, just laid out on the land for all to see. Robb knew much of the history, and he couldn't wait to share adventures in Scotland with Tessa... that is if she stayed long enough for all that. He thought that she would most definitely stay if he proposed to her, but he didn't want to do that too early on in their visit either. He wanted to do everything at an easy going pace, let her settle in and get used to the life that his family led.

Tessa sat leisurely in the car, right up next to Robb. She was sitting in the center seat in the back, instead of the ones on either side. She liked beings near him. She looked over at him when he started to talk, shrugging in a non committed way. "To be honest Robb I don't know, I don't really know what people do in Scotland. Why don't you or your parents choose things for this afternoon, and I'll start making suggestions tomorrow??" She asked, hoping he would agree. She didn't want to go into his parents home and start making Tessa-like suggestions, she honestly didn't know what a family did with their time, let alone a Scottish family that lives in the highlands with no electricity or modern practices. She was clueless. She turned her head to follow Robb's eyes out to the countryside, and let out a soft breath "It's gorgeous, i honestly haven't seen anything like it before." She admitted, resting her hand above his on the car seat.

George picked up speed, Robb settled back in the seat, he put an arm over the back of the seat, so that it was behind Tessa's head. She could easily lean against him that way, in case she fell asleep on their long drive. "I say we unpack, get settled in, eat, and just bum it out today. Tomorrow we can start doing things, I don't want to do a lot of stuff today and then not have any energy to stuff tomorrow," He replied to Tessa after thinking for a few minutes. Robb knew they would both be happy to just not be sitting anymore once they got to the castle. He wondered briefly if his sisters had setup the bedroom right next to his or not, he'd written them and informed them that she would be more comfortable near him, but that didn't mean that they actually paid attention to anything he said. Robb knew they were just excited in general that he was bringing a girl home, a girl that he saw as THE ONE. Robb felt his eyes drooping, he was going to pass out at any moment, hopefully he wouldn't wake until they were home, he really didnt' want to sit there counting the seconds.

(I was thinking we could skip after this? You could put Tessa as falling asleep too, and then waking up to shouts and stuff? Maybe? His family like opening doors and talking all at once, and they're in front of this old, small, but intricately detailed castle?)

(I'm JIGGY with that sorry for the shorter post)
Tessa nodded to him, her eyelids drooping as she slowly fell asleep beside him. Her side was leaned against him, her head resting on his shoulder. After the long train ride, Tessa was out within two minutes, sleeping peacefully next to Robb, snuggled into his side. She only awoke sometime later, she wasn't sure how long. She hadn't even been aware that the car had stopped. All she could tell in her groggy state was a few things; there were voices around her, lots of voices. Excited and arguing, happy and confused, but all voices. Next were the doors, opening and closing over and over again. Tessa opened her eyes slowly, lifting her head quickly once she realized that they had arrived. A castle was outside of the windows, a beautiful, big castle with intricate details all over it. She blinked her eyes rapidly, rubbing them would just fuck up her makeup. She looked around and saw a lot of people, a lot of dark haired people, with tan skin and healthy bodies. She sat up straight and looked to Robb, nudging him furiously. The butterflies in her stomach came back full force.

Robb slept peacefully, oblivious to his surroundings. The road was long and bumpy, but him and Tessa were passed out and didn't notice a thing, George was thankful, the poor young adults looked so tired after the train ride. Once they arrived George tried to get out quietly, too late though, he'd been spotted by one of the many O'Malley children, and soon the whole clan was outside talking and bombarding the vehicle. The brothers, Landon, Sean, and Bran started pulling bags out, assuming the pink ones were Tessa's, and the brown one was Robb's, they took them towards the stone stairs. The sisters, Olivia and Rebecca opened up opposite doors, both peeking at the sleeping couple. Their parents, James and Marie walked down to the car as well, then the brothers returned and everyone started talking at once. Robb opened his eyes slowly, he was being jabbed in the ribs, and there was some atrocious noise hailing down on his senses. Robb saw his family surrounding his car, they were fresh faced and excited, they were all pushing questions towards him and Tessa. Robb pushed his way through his brothers, his hand held Tessa's, taking her with him. The family followed, Robb turned, let go of Tessa's hand, and started hugging everyone, his mother was tearful, his father looked proud. His siblings all looked curious, and wanted to know how the train ride was and if they liked the new car. Robb introduced Tessa to each one, making sure to include her in everything. His mother hugged Tessa, his father kissed her on the cheek, his brothers each gave her a big hug, and his sisters all affectionately hugged her softly. He knew it was all a lot to take in, but he hoped that Tessa wouldn't be too overwhelmed with it all. (You're fine love)

Tessa heard a thousand questions at once as Robb pulled her from the can behind him. She looked around, seeing seven new faces coming t she and Robb all at once. She was pulled past three burly young men, and went to stand by two teenage girls, in front of an adult couple. She was hugged by six different people, introduced to all of them, one at a time. She smiled and hugged and said "it's wonderful to meet you", and "I've heard so much about you!" One thing to ech of them , her blue eyes bright. She was basically running on her well bred autopilot. Even Tessa LaVant could be overwhelmed at times. She stuck close to Robb, not wanting to stray from his side.

Robb felt Tessa snuggle close to his side, he put his arm around her in a comforting way, trying to make sure she felt okay in her surroundings. He spoke to his father about the ride for a few moments, then excused him and Tessa, saying something about being exhausted. "We'll meet up with you all tonight over dinner," He informed them before turning away and leading Tessa up the stone steps, double, broad, wooden doors were open in front of them and took them into the foyer, it was stone as well, "The castle is as close to its original condition as we could keep it, we obviously have to do repairs here and there, and we wanted hot water and plumbing, so we have all of that fortunately. Not through normal means, but we have some propane here, so we have a propane hot water heater, and there's a water mill to get the water pumping and through the pipes. Oh this way," He turned her down a dark hall, and then up some steep steps, the walls on either side of them held pictures and art, some of it was Robb's ancestors, other things were made by family members or by people from the village. "We're on the west wing, my parents are on the east, and my siblings are on the north. I have a wing all to myself because I'm the eldest," He was doing his best to explain things. "Here we are," Two doors stood open side by side, "Yours is the left, mine is the right...." He stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do. He didn't know if she wanted to come in his room, or if she wanted to go into her own room.

Tessa caught the stares of many of Robb's siblings while he was talking to her father. They were staring at her, what she was wearing, her makeup. She knew they weren't used to seeing people with painted faces all the time, but she did wish they could contain their stares. She was sort of relieved when Robb was steering her away and into the castle, that was much better than being gawked at. The two stepped foot into the castle and Tessa let out a very soft gasp, barely audible through the large space. She followed along with Robb, letting him pull her where hey needed to go. She wanted to take it all in, to look at every stone and every grout line, to study every piece of art for a few moments, at least. She wanted to stare out the views the windows held, she would never get bored with them. Tessa felt Robb come to a stop by some rooms, and then he was talking to her. She tore her eyes away from a red and gold tapestry that hung on the wall, and looked to Robb instead. She looked between the two rooms and pursed her lips "Well, we can't exactly cuddle in your bed together, your parents wouldn't be very happy. Why don't we both take good naps, then you can wake me up about a half hour before dinner starts? That way I have time to do whatever I need to." She said, hoping Robb conceited. Of course the blonde wanted to snuggle up to her boyfriends warm body, to let his heartbeat soothe her to sleep, but she wanted his parents approval more. Naps could wait.

Robb watched as a distracted Tessa tore her eyes away from some tapestry, her eyes fell on him and seemed to be paying attention once more. He nodded his head when she mentioned them taking naps, and him waking her early for dinner. "I can do that," Robb wrapped Tessa up in a hug, he carefully placed a lingering kiss on her lips, no one was around so he felt it was safe to do so. "Until then," He looked at her longingly before he entered his room and let the heavy, wooden door fall shut behind him. He hoped she would enjoy her room. His sisters had whispered that they had set up a hot bath in the porcelain tub that sat in a corner in Tessa's room. They'd tried to make the room as comfortable as possible for his girlfriend, Robb was very thankful. He noticed a fire was crackling in the hearth in his room, he figured Tessa's was probably doing the same. Robb looked around his childhood bedroom, it hadn't changed a bit. His parents had left everything as it had been last year, he was kind of happy to be in familiar surroundings once more. Robb shrugged off his shirt, and started taking his shoes off, next was pants, he threw it all into a corner of his room, and then climbed tiredly into bed. He would spruce up later, he set an alarm on his phone, luckily he'd charged his phone on the train so he had plenty of charge. After it woke him later he would turn it off until he had need of it again.

Tessa snuggled into Robb's embrace briefly, them kissed him back softly. The kiss was quick, but was definitely the kind that could hold them over for so long, while not being able to kiss freely. They would sustain them for plenty long, the emotional, soft kisses. Tessa turned and walked into what was now her room and closed the thick wooden door behind her. She turned towards the room and stood for a moment to take it all in. It was beautiful of course, the room was fairly large, constructed from smooth stone by the looks of it. There was a four poster bed in front of her, it's majestic form jutting out from the wall before her. She turned her head some to see the rest of the room. There was a crackling fire nestled into the fireplace, with pictures of what looked like Robb as a child, as well as flowers and framed shots of the highlands, on the mantel. She observed them for a moment before turning and letting her steps guide her to the other side of the room. She almost tripped over her pink luggage, which was positioned near the bed. She walked by it thigh and found a changing screen near a corner of the room. When she went to investigate, she found a massive soaking tub behind it, the kind that Robb could easily fit in. It held steaming water in it almost to the brim, with small purple flowers atop it and a heavenly scent wafting from the surface. Tessa grinned, this was exactly what she needed. She shucked her clothing and shoes carefully, folding them on the bed, and hung her bathrobe on the changing screen. She then pulled her hair into a bun on top of her head and stepped into the tub, feeling the warmth jolt through her system as she sank down into a laying position. Tessa closed her eyes, and fell asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire, and nothing but it.
(Sorry if I typed the other part it would be too long yikes)

Tessa jolted awake in the bathroom, her head snapping upright, where it had been leaning back against the porcelain a moment before. She looked around, trying to remember where she was. Ah yes, Robb's castle. She smiled to herself a big, just before realizing that the water had gone like warm, ew. Tessa slowly stood up and grabbed onto her long fluffy bathrobe, the one that she only wore when she was alone. At the dorm she wore a silk red one, but really there was no need to lie to yourself, right? She found a towel in a small bathroom off of her bedroom and dried herself off througholy , then rummaged through her suitcases until she found something suitable to wear. She picked out a simple navy blue dress, one that had a crew neck and three quarter length sleeves. The dress was short though, so she slipped on a pair of black lace tights on underneath it. She combed out her hair and placed a skinny head band atop her blonde hair, then slipped on some black boots with a very small heel. She knew she was early to be awake for dinner, so she cleaned up her room and glanced over herself in the mirror, throwing her reflection a cute wink, because really, she would date herself if she could. But then she'd miss Robb. Huh. Anyway, Tessa walked curiously out of the room, closing the door behind her. She walked out into the halls, not really sure where she was going. She looked like Alice wandering through wonderland, the castles walls and artwork dwarfing the young woman as she went through her own personal fairytale land.

Olivia O'Malley was playing piano in one of the many rooms in the castle, they called this room the 'music' room. She had her head bent over the keys, her fingers flying as they hit the notes, she was playing Someone Like You by Adele, of course her parents didn't know she was practicing modern songs every day. They believed their daughter was just very talented and came up with these new compositions on her own. She refused to break their hearts and admit to having an iPod that Robb had sent her a while ago, as well as a car charger that she could use in the new car. Before that she would have to use a solar charger her brother had sent her, it was all a pain to keep the secrets, but totally worth it. Olivia sung the words quietly, she thought everyone in the home was asleep, and she didnt' want to wake them. She couldn't hold back from singing the lyrics though, she loved this song. Olivia wore a pair of handmade pants, they were tucked into her riding boots, and a loose, roughly woven shirt, she had it untucked, her long dark hair was down, and hung like a curtain around her face, she was completely absorbed in the music.(I'm sorry its so short)

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa walked through the castle, eventually finding a destination for herself. There was music playing somewhere, a familiar song that enticed her. It was by Adele, one of Tessa's favorite artists. So her shoes clicked along the hallways, following her ears to the tranquil noises. After turning in her tracks countless times, Tessa came upon the sound. She heard it loud and clear, all there was between herself and the music was two large doors. She took one more step towards it and pushed her fingers against the wood, not expecting it to swing open as quickly as it did. The door scraped against the floor just enough to cause a noise, and Tessa stood in the doorway, horrified by the fact that shed intereupted the music. Her blue eyes found the source, one if Robb's sisters sitting at the piano. "I am so, so sorry. I woke up early and decided to explore and I heard you playing and I just... I'm really sorry." She said, taking a nervous step towards the girl. Of course she didn't want to make a fool of herself in front of Robb's sister, but all she could do now was back pedaling

Olivia was nearing the end of the song, her voice got a little louder as she continued being caught up in the music. It wasn't until she heard the sound of the door scraping that she stopped playing and singing. She pushed some of her hair out of her face and looked toward the source of the noise, praying it wasn't her mother or father, she really couldn't deal with them praising her for the millionth time over how beautiful the song was that she'd written. It was a new voice that filled the air though, Tessa, Robb's girlfriend, stood in the doorway, and then timidly started coming towards her. 16 year old Olivia smiled, "Its okay, truly. I was just fiddling around anyway, and I'm sure you know that was Adele. Please do not mention that little fact to my parents, they think I wrote it, as well as a few other songs." Olivia looked guilty, a small flush overcame her cheeks, "Its just that they don't allow modern music in the house really, but Robb filled up an iPod for me and sent it and I've been listening to it in secret and..." Olivia walked up to Tessa and gently took her hands in hers, "Just please don't tell my secret." She begged with her eyes, and her body was trembling slighlty as she faced Tessa.(This will be the girl you get to modernize and possibly even whisk away with you sometime)

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa watched as the girl stood and came towards her. She was gorgeous, not too much younger than Tessa. She was so scared though, so worried that Tessa would eat her out. Tessa's big eyes stuck on her face, a smile breaking out on her light, glossy lips. She almost laughed, but the poor girl would've hated her if she had. Her head was shaking though "Of course I won't tell anyone. I've been keeping secrets since I was a toddler, trust me I'm good at it." She said, giving Olivia a reassuring smile. Her hands were still encased in the other girls, but Tessa didn't really mind right then. "But just because it's not your song doesn't mean you shouldn't give yourself credit, you played that beautifully. You're very good." she said, strolling over to the piano and poking a white key at random. The clear 'ding' sounded throughout the room, lonely but cheerful.

Olivia was happy to hear that Tessa would keep her secret, a small smile came to her face, she then watched as Tessa broke away and went to the piano, she touched a key and the sound filled the quiet room. "Thank you, I practice in my spare time, which lately I have a lot of that to be honest. There's not much for me to do since we're on holiday, I mean I could embroider and do all that good stuff, but really its not my thing. Its more of Rebecca's field. She' amazing at weaving, I know she's only 13 but she's quite talented in making handmade things... and now I'm rambling. Sorry about that, we don't get visitor's here that often, and certainly not worldly visitors." Tessa was beautiful, Olivia loved her hair, smile, style. Oh her style, Olivia wished that she was allowed to go to the city and pick out new clothes. Not that she didn't appreciate her mothers hard work on the clothes she was wearing, its just that she wanted the experience of picking out clothes, and seeing all the shops herself. "So..... is this a drastic change for you?" Olivia glanced around them at the more medieval like settings.

Tessa looked to Olivia and listened closely, if she could learn information about the family, she would. Anything for dinner topics of conversation. Tessa wouldn't let the table go silent on her watch. She tucked the information about Rebecca into the back of her mind and chuckled at Olivia's question. "Definitely a change. I'm from New York City, so I've grown up in a completely different world." She said, looking around the room. He could feel Olivia's eyes on her, looking at her outfit she assumed. Tessa felt a bit bad for Olivia, she obviously craved the outside modern world... Maybe if Robb's family started to like her a lot, she could get Olivia in some of her own clothes. They might be a bit small, but Tessa could fix that, shed always had fluxing weight, growing up a queen made her very aware of her looks, she used to binge or purge with her feelings, it was rough. "Don't get me wrong, though, I like it. It's beautiful, for one. And it feels like it's out of a fairytale. I just took a bath that had lavender salts and flowers in it, I feel like Alice in a scared sort of wonderland. And of course, I'll give anything a solid shot for Robb. He loves this place, so I'm going to love it too." She said, smiling sweetly at Olivia.

Olivia was a little jealous of Tessa, she got to grow up in one of the most popular cities of the United States, and it was the busiest. She hoped that Tessa would adapt quickly though because she didn't want her to leave too soon, Olivia had a million questions, and wanted to hear all about the past year at the Academy from her point of view, because Robb would just sum it up in two to three sentences. She had a feeling Tessa would just down in the window seat in the library and tell her everything. You see that's Olivia's safe place, the library with the window seat, where she can gaze out and daydream without interruption. No one knew what she did there, no one but Robb that is. Olivia smiled at Tessa, "Well I think you'll fit in just fine, I'll try to help you get used to things as much as possible, and I'm sure Robb will too. Just watch out for my other brothers, they like jokes and pranks and all of that silly stuff. Just don't trust them too easily if they instruct you about something," Olivia could see her brothers ruining the time here for Tessa, she would do everything in her power to not let that happen though. "So what do you want to do first? I could show you the kitchens if you like? We could see if there are any cookies waiting to be eaten?" Olivia linked arms with her newfound friend and led Tessa from the music room.

Tessa quirked a brow at Olivia, she was grateful for the warning. She didn't want to make herself look stupid here, nah here was for impressing people. "Mm alright, noting that." She said, then linked her arm with the girl. Tessa was just barely her height, with her two inch heels. Tessa wasn't very tall at 5'4 but she didn't like to think of herself as short either. She looked at Olivia and shrugged a bit "Cookies sounds good, to be honest I've been nervous all day, I haven't eaten since Robb force fed me a croissant this morning..." She admitted, looking a bit guilty. Robb always made sure that she are enough. She'd found it painfully annoying at first, but now she knew that he was just looking out for her in his own silly way. "How about you show me your favorite spots in order? I'm sure I'm going to get lost a million times, but id love to see them anyway." She chirped, walking out of the music room with her newfound companion.

Olivia smiled, "That's big brother, always making sure everyone's taken care of. He's very domineering, but he has a good heart through it all so it definitely makes it bearable. I love him to death, if I could find a guy that has the similar aspects of my brother I would be one happy girl. I doubt I'll ever find someone here though...." Olivia cleared her throat, "So this," She waved her arm to a broad door that was open, "Is the main parlor that my parents receive visitors in. At first they didn't want to have anything like this, they thought it was good enough to see people in the dining hall, or fathers study. But Rebecca and I convinced them to give us the rights to decorate, and voila, here it is. Mother is quite thrilled with it all, its a Victorian themed room so that it kind of keeps to what they like, father says its too frilly for his taste. But I find him here more often than anyone else, without guests around might I add." Olivia giggled, and then proceeded down the hall, "This can be a place you fall in love with if you give it a chance. Of course I'm sure you'll miss modern things, like cellphones and such, but its a good place to visit." Olivia led Tessa down some stairs that looked less intricate, and more worn than the rest. "We're going down the servants stairs, its much quicker, and I'm not against being around the servants, some of them are my dearest friends," Olivia spoke with affection of their staff. She's grown up with most of them, and she fully believed a good household was one where the lead lady was friends with her staff. The smell of cookies and coffee reached the girls as they started down a wide hall towards a warm, broad, expansive kitchen.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa looked at her with soft eyes. "Well if you'd like my opinion, I think everyone finds who they're supposed to be with, in some way shape or form. It doesn't have to be a perfect meeting or at all how you expect it. You'll find your mister right Olivia, just give yourself time." She advised, throwing the girl a wink as she walked through the parlor. "It's a beautiful space, you girls did an amazing job. Do you like to design? Interiors, I mean?" She asked in an interested tone. Normally Tessa didn't mix well with people, but Olivia seemed very sweet and down to earth, the kind of girl she wanted to be around. She let her eyes wander over the small staircase that she was being led down by the ravenesque beauty before her. The stairs were narrow, and look like they'd been constructed a while ago, but certainly weren't unsafe. She was surprised to hear that they had servants, in the plural. With how minimalistic Robb's family was, Tessa had expected one butler, a cook, and maybe a maid. She nodded though "I understand. We have a maid at our, well now at my mothers flat. Her name is aria, she was a second mother to me when I was growing up. Don't know what I wouldn't done without her." Tessa said, not mentioning to Olivia that her actual parents never had time for her, so at first, young Tessa had thought aria was her mother. That wouldn't be a happy fact to share...

Olivia hoped that Tessa's words rang true, she really did dream of leaving home and finding her own place with a handsome man that would love her and cherish her. Even if he wasn't handsome, she didn't care, as long as his heart was pure, and his soul was good. She wasn't one of those girls that turned her nose up just because a boy didnt' look like prince charming, Olivia believed in getting to know someone and then deciding if they were beautiful or ugly. So far Tessa was absolutely gorgeous inside and out and she could see why her brother had fallen head over heels in love with her. Olivia nodded her head, "I love decorating, I wish my parents would let me redo the entire castle, but that's a big long shot. Neither one of them like change all that much..." She spied a tray full of cookies laid out, "Oh look," She snatched some and put them in a small basket nearby, as well as some bread and cheese, and a small tin jug of milk. "We can eat in the gardens," She told Tessa with a sly grin, it wasn't until she spoke that the big, burly looking cook turned around, he started waving his rolling pin at Olivia and speaking in French. "Thank you Gustave, I love you too," She laughed and pulled Tessa from the kitchens, leading her down yet another hall and then another, and another, and finally she pulled them out through an archway into a brilliant garden. One couldn't even see it all from where they were standing, you would have to walk around for a good half an hour to see everything there.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa nodded as they walked through the kitchen. She wished she help Olivia spruce the place up as she wanted to so much, but she couldn't how it was. She still needed to prove herself to this family, she had to make them love her and want her to stay around. Maybe once she accomplished that she could plan something with Olivia, some sort of ball or event that they could work on together. But she couldn't, not yet. She followed Olivia and grinned at the cookies, god they looked good. She really was hungry, butt shed already promised herself not to assimilate too much to the diet of Robb's family. Of course she would eat like them, but she needed to be wary of her portion sizes so she wouldn't gain any weight. Robb already made her gain three pounds. Tessa jumped noticeably when the chef started to yell at them, she understood what he was saying and it was fairly rude. She stood frozen until Olivia dragged her from the kitchen "Does he always scream like that?" She asked as the two girls ran through the home. They came to two large doors and bursted through them "Woah." Tessa breathed, looking around the gardens. They topped every botanical garden that shed been in. The bright yellows and pinks bursted through the green and blue of the ground and sky, "This really is wonderland." She said to Olivia, a hunt of teasing in her voice as she went to walk in the gardens, her boots stepping lightly on the bright green grass.

Olivia smiled as they walked out into the botanical paradise, "Yes its quite magical." She continued walking, taking Tessa towards a spot that would be excellent for snacking. The summer annuals were in full bloom, the colors in the garden were vibrant, they stood out against the grass. "And yes the cook always yells at me, I have no idea what he says to me, but he really is a nice man. He and I have excellent conversations when I'm not stealing from his kitchen," She gave Tessa a dimpled smile, "Over here," She continued leading the way, switching paths and walking towards a huge tree, the branches reached out, and then hung down some, making a beautiful canopy. "Here we go," Olivia sat down on the soft, green grass, then reached in the basket and pulled out a piece of linen, she spread it out and plucked the cookies out next, she laid them on the cloth as well as the cheese and bread. "Fit for a king," Olivia said with a giggle, then popped a cookie into her mouth. "So," Olivia chewed fast, trying to get the cookie down as fast as possible, she took a sip of cold milk. "I think that tomorrow we should take out out to see all the animals, one of our pigs just had babies and they are so cute!"

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Tessa skipped out into the garden wth Olivia and chuckled softly "Well I can tell you what he said. He called you a disrespectful chit and mentioned that he could be cooking in the ritz if he liked." She chirped, a smile popping onto her face. She felt that she could tease Olivia, but she wasn't teasing about what the cool had said, that was all truth. She stepped through the grass with her, and plopped down beside her in her casual dress. She didn't see it as overly fancy, but Robb would probably think it was, oh well too bad. He was still snoring in bed, so he didn't get an opinion. She took a cookie from Olivia and smiled at her, nodding as she took a small bite. The cookie was delicious, it melted in her mouth as soon as it touched her tongue. She swallowed after a moment "These are heavenly...." She said first, then switched back to the topic at hand "That sounds cute, I've seen pictures of baby pigs online and things they're so cute. Never seen one in person though..." She muttered

Olivia was none too happy about hearing what the chef had called her, but really she didn't have the heart to hold bad feelings for him. He was forgiven in the matter of seconds, and she just told herself it was his gruff nature, he meant nothing by it. She watched as Tessa nibbled on her cookie, hmm... maybe that's how city girls ate? She wasn't sure... Olivia ate another and then broke herself off a piece of warm bread to add to her mouthful of food. She leaned back on her elbows, and enjoyed the morsels in her mouth, Olivia enjoyed food just as much as Robb. Of course Rebecca did not, she claimed that Olivia was distasteful when it came to her manners and that she would never get a proper husband. Olivia didn't mind, she wasn't planning on marrying anytime soon to be honest. She wanted to get a life started of her own before even thinking about the prospect of marriage. She glanced at Tessa, "You've never seen a pig? Oh then you definitely have to come, I mean as long as Robb has nothing planned for the both of you. I don't want to interrupt couples time and all of that." (What Olivia looks like, I'm going to make her a charrie profile eventually

)

Tessa shrugged "well no, there aren't really a lot of pigs in New York... At least I don't think there are.." She said with a confused look on her face. She smiled softly at Olivia and shook her head "I don't think Robb will have any plans. He's sweet but I think he's looking to relax more here. I mean when we go to my parents house there will be no relaxing at all, constant attacks and defense and ugh it won't be fun." She commented. She let out a soft sigh when finishing her cookie, and laid back in the soft green grass. She looked up at the bright blue sky and let her eyes wander over it all. It really was relaxing. The sky was a light, vibrant sort of blue. There were barely any clouds, but there were some. And those were fluffy, white, beautiful.

The words were kind of shocking for Olivia, she couldn't imagine not having livestock around, it was a way of life, of surviving, where she lived. Of course she wouldn't mind NOT having to deal with it all, but she would sort of miss it at the same time. Olivia thought Tessa looked rather stressed when she mentioned visiting her parents, it didn't sound fun at all. Well if rest and relaxation was what they were looking for, Olivia would do her best to help them out. She wished she could make things easier for Tessa when she left thought.... maybe she would make her a gift basket of sorts before she left. Olivia knew how to make wonderfully smelling soaps from scratch, as well as bath 'bombs' as Robb called them, he'd sent her the recipe for making those just recently. She hid them away in her room, and only used them on occasion. "I hope I can help to make the stay as relaxing and uneventful as possible. I'd really like you both to have a wonderful time while you're here. Perhaps we could go pick flowers in the fields after lunch tomorrow, if the weather isn't terrible." Olivia smiled at Tessa, trying to lighten the mood. "You're not a vegetarian are you?" Olivia said out of the blue, she hoped not. The main courses for almost all their meals were meat. They had veggies as well, fresh from the garden, but her family was a huge meat eating family.

Tessa angled her eyes over to Olivia and grinned, god this girl was sweet, Tess really liked her. "I don't think you need to worry about us having a good time. I already am, I like your company, Olivia. A lot. You remind me of one of my friends at school, except you're a lot less manipulative... And you're nicer... But still." She said, then realized that she was off track "I'd love that, flower picking I mean. It sounds lovely. I'd love to explore this whole place with you and the rest of the family. In tune with nature I mean it sounds all zen, I like it." She said, giggling softly. Tess rolled a bit in the grass to where she was on her side, facing Olivia. Her hands were acting as a pillow for her cute blonde head "Oh no, I like to eat healthy but I'm not a vegetarian. My friends and I tried it once, it only lasted for about a month. Bean sprouts and salads can be very, very boring if you don't have chicken or something to break it up." She said, thinking of the foolishness of that time. Shed been so obsessed with eating no meat, for Tess is was a diet. she didn't mention that the reason it stopped was the feinting episode that happened in chem class...

Olivia blushed from Tessa's words, they were sweet. Then she started talking about being a vegetarian once and she really looked like it had been a terrible experience for her all round. Olivia made a mental note to never bring it up again, instead she would talk about safer topics. She was kind of itching to know more about life outside of the castle. She wasn't sure if Tessa would want to talk about it though, she had just come here for vacation, so why would she want to discuss home? Olivia chewed on another piece of bread while she pondered over asking Tessa. The birds chirped over head, white, puffy clouds dotted the sky here and there, but nothing serious. "Tessa?" Olivia said casually, "Would you mind telling me what its like out in the world? The city? The people? The boom and bustle that I've only read and dreamed about? Tell me about boys and fashion and the designs," Olivia finally caved and just gushed about everything she wanted to know about.

Tessa relaxed for a moment, just looking around the gardens with an interested gaze. She didn't mind the silence, it was peaceful for her. She thought that one night she would come out here with Robb, stargaze, just the two of them. No kissing of course, but cuddling and whispering of course. The silence was broken by Olivia, the young girl asking Tessa a swarm of questions all at once, in such quick recession that Tessa wasn't sure what to say first. She thought for a moment, then a grin pulled onto her lips. "Olivia I would love to teach you about the city, the world. I've seen a lot of it, so I can. I have pictures and clothes I can show you, i can teach you labels and to walk in heels if you want." She said, smiling big. Tessa sat up straight, her legs folded to her side in the blanket. She looked more like an NYC queen in that moment. "So the city. It's huge Olivia. It's probably twice the size of the train station to this castle. Seriously humungous. I haven't even seen all of it. Where I live is called the Upper East Side, it's the wealthy, swanky side if town. My parents are newly divorced, so I have two "homes". See a home in New York is usually a flat. This big loft apartment that's got a big living room, kitchen, dining room, and bedrooms on the top level. It's not like the castle though. It's designed modernly, with creamy white walls and crystal chandeliers. Hardwood flooring and luxurious fabrics everywhere." She gushed, grinning giddily.

Olivia was surprised by the offer that Tessa put out to her, she had expected a story or two. Nothing like learning the lifestyle, how to's and what nots. She was actually really excited about it all, her eyes lit up and cheeks became rosy with excitement. "Oh Tessa would you?! Could you?! I really would love that, I've never even worn heels, or seen anything like that. A place that big must be magnificent. I've only dreamed of places like New York, or even Dublin. My parents can be a bit overprotective. Robb promised that he would talk to them about maybe sending me away for school. Do you think that you could help him? Like tell my parents how wonderful it is? First me though, what kind of clothes do you prefer? Where do you shop? What's your favorite cafe?" Olivia payed close to attention to Tessa, waiting to hang onto her every wordd. This was her dream, she really did want to see everything, to live the life of a New Yorker.

Tessa bit down in her lip and chuckled a little bit. "Well Olivia first I have to make them trust and like me. For now I can make sure Robb talks up the school, I'll put in my tidbits of praise for it. I do love that school, it wouldn't be lying." She said, then her eyes sparked with excitement. Tess didn't think she would be able to talk about designers it anything while with Robb's family. "Okay well, I go for the style of classic with a twist. I like simple silloettes that's flatter my figure. Things like high waisted skirts, peplums, ruffles on top. Classic, timeless pieces. Like see this?" Tessa stood up, not even looking egotistical, she was teaching Olivia exactly why she chose the outfit "The dress is classically cut, highlighting my natural waist. Then the skirt is modest, down to just above the knee. The lace leggings add to the mature feel, so I don't look too young. And the heels make me look taller." She explained, then sat back down next to Olivia. "My favorite designers are Dior and Chanel for formal wear, makeup, and accessories. Then for everyday I love Kate Spade, Alice and Olivia, and Dian Von Furstenburg. They're brightly colored and fun, while Dior and Chanel are just perfect and luxurious." She said, her eyes animated as she spoke about clothing. "My favorite cafe is Catennes, they make delicious coffees and they have the most glorious pastries. Everything is very healthy too, all natural and good for you." She chirped.
