Melissa (defineimaginemj) | 1 comments Hello,

I'm not sure if this is alright or not (the group rules don't mention it), but I wanted to let everyone here know about a new aspiring writer's community called Blackheath Dawn who are geared up toward helping aspiring writers to hone their craft and to assist them in taking the right steps toward publication.

Their website is www.blackheathdawn.co.uk
They accept international writers as well.

There are three levels of membership. There are only a few benefits to the free membership, including their forums, but with the medium and full memberships you'd get access to competitions, workshops (including discounts on workshops), webinars and more. With the full membership you even get your own website to post your BHD course work, along with a blog area and portfolio for any other work you'd like to add.

I'm an aspiring fantasy author, and I was one of the first asked to test their services. Since then I have become a volunteer on their team. I can quite honestly say that I'm already feeling the benefits of what they have to offer. This is my own BHD site - http://www.blackheathdawnwriters.co.u...
There's not a great amount on there at the moment, but I'm going to be building it up slowly.

BHD was only launched on January 24th this year, so there are still a few creases that need ironing out.
I just thought I would mention this for the benefit of up and coming writers who could benefit from it, like myself.
