Perfection question

I understand where you're coming from because a lot of novels go this route, which I'm not a fan of. However, I didn't get that message from this book. It was only when Trevor commented "It's not like you need it," that made Zoe want to start losing weight for herself (like Geri said), not him. When Trevor noticed her dramatic weight loss because she was starving herself (which he was really concerned with), and that she was losing the curves he'd come to love that he knew it was time to say something. I don't think he said anything earlier because of what he initially said to her*. Even his Uncle said something to her especially after she almost passed out. Trevor told her that eating healthy will keep her full and help her still lose weight. In the end Trevor wanted the full figured Zoe he fell in love with. Hope this makes sense.

*Let's be honest ladies. What woman wants to hear she's too big and then later, you're not doing it the healthy way, that you're starving yourself? I think all that shit would drive a woman mental.

Trevor, did like her curvy. He said she was losing those curves he loved and it was starting to scare the shit out of him. In the end of the book he said she never lost anymore weight and never gained anymore and he still worshipped her body. She was trying to lose the weight for herself not for Trevor.

For books with curvy women who actually love their body, I'd recommend book 1 of Chicago Stars series, It Had To Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. It was a nice change of pace

I know that it seems like the guy only got interested in her after she lost some weight, but I believe that she lost the weight for herself and not for him. Which to me makes a big difference.
