Twining Book Club discussion

I think our school should have a reading marathon. In North Carolina we did this it was a all day thing. The topic was reading so you could read with a partner or read by yourselves. We had a ton of fun and it was optional. Now who thinks this is a good Idea, and who thinks it's a bad one?

I'm really late on this but I think we should have a month long competition.
Where we see who can read the most.
(Basically I'm stating I have no time and all I've done is read and I need some competition in my life)
I was thinking maybe everyone from last years book club could participate, it would be a cool way to end our club.
Obviously most of us have moved so it wouldn't be a get together, maybe we could all skype or something at the end to see who read the most and what were the best books you read in that month.
Also I think it should start next month if we did it in august, people who are going to public school wouldn't have the advantages of people homeschooling or online schooling and it wouldn't be fair.
