Did you like it, hate it, or love it? Why, how?

I am with Emma. That and my mom won't let me
Really. I actually like who they picked for clary though
I've seen the movie. It was good, but it could have been a whole lot better. I didn't like who they chose for Jace personally and it didn't exactly follow the book on a few big things and the CGI was horrible, but other than that it was okay.
My Review: **MAY COUNTAIN SPOILERS IF THE BOOK'S UNREAD**
I liked Lily Collins as Clary. She has a frustrated Clary-style, but that's it. She's whiny, but in the looks department, she's okay.
Jace is the opposite.
In the personality department, A HUGE YES!! He displayed it perfectly, except those small parts that he says without emotion, though, in the books, those moments are the only moments where Jace is emotional, so big bummer.
A bigger bummer? His looks! God, he's ugly! Like a girl! He keeps swiping his hair behind his ear, and it looks terribly girly
The plot was ever so changed and could have been so much better. It was also too fast, too quick and if I had seen the movie before the book I wouldn't understand a thing!
For example, without any explanation, they go to the Silent City. and there are soo many Brothers! Anyways, there many things abrupt.
Alex's first words: Pretty far from Brooklyn, huh, Clary? Stay away from Jace.
I mean, WHAT?!
Clary just woke up, and Alex is like: The rune for the broken heart is the most painful one.
Jace: They'll be out in a day, I promise.
When all he should've said is....
What the hell?!
Very fast, and the romantic moments are a bit tacky. Magnus was a huge disappointment! He says, "Yeah, he's not your dad. Just a random guy" like he's saying "Oh no, that's not ice-cream, that's chocolate".

I heard all of this stuff from people I know who`ve seen it and I thought the casting for Jace was just horrible.
Me too. I agree he looked kinda girly with his hair.
I didn't imagine jace with that accent.
Lauren-Me neither I didn't imagine Jace with that accent or seriousness. He didn't say the jokes in a joking way. He was serious the whole time/:
but the thing is is that the other day I was watching interviews about the movie and Jemima was in NONE of them. does anyone know where she's been? Godfrey was in some of them but he's not even in the poster while Jemima is. don't know where she is…
Was the movie any better than the book? Any more character developement?I personally didn't like the book see my review here https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I hated the movie it didn't follow the book at all. I also didn't like how they made Valentines hair black or dark brown when he's supposed to have almost white hair!!
I hated the movie. It made the people who haven't read the book not want to read it! I thought they could have done so much better and it was such a disappointment. I think they should remake it.
Exactly. The only castings I liked were Simon, Luke, and Jocelyn. And were Jace and the other Lightwoods even supposed to have british accents??
I hated the movie too, the end? Was a mess and the only thing they followed the book was for the jokes.
i agree with basically what everyone is saying..especially about jace & how without reading the books you wouldnt understand everything
although it has problems though, i think that this movie is actually quite good.
i actually enjoyed it so much.
no, it wasnt exact to the book & couldve been made better
but that doesnt mean that it wasnt an enjoyable movie to sit down and watch
