I don't know if she lets anyone really know of her historian side (remarkably unterrifying, see). But maybe on that note, they could be discussing the attack in terms of "What could be a possible retaliation or finding known perpetrators type thing"?

Well I think she'd get suspicious with his response to her words. Either she can reveal she wasn't listening by asking or try and pull it off but either way Sol will tell her exactly what she agreed to do which I'd imagine turn into a small, bit playful, argument.
