Madison perched upon the roof, looking over the mist rolling silently between the trees and fields.
This was where he thought, when he was alone. for the moment, he was.
Accompanied only by his thoughts and ideas, memories resurged and even the most uncomfortable ones sought some solace here. The ghosts who died in death, where did they go. Nowhere. Eternity of nothingness, possibly just awareness of the oblivion they were now trapped in.
Sometimes being an exorcist wasn't always about green vomit, croaking out expletives or crossing proton streams.
