So I dunno if there's already a discussion here about vampire academy but too bad cause I NEED to talk about this book turned movie!

What did people think about the movie???

I haven't met anyone who liked it.

I haven't seen it yet since it hasn't arrived in Puerto Rico.

I LOVED IT!!!! IT WAS SO TRUE TO THE BOOK AND THE ONLY BAD THING WAS A SPECIAL EFFECT WHICH LOOKED FAKE BUT OTHERWISE IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND THE FORESHADOWING OMG THERE WAS SO MUCH FORESHADOWING FOR THE NEXT BOOKS!!!!!!!

I loved it too. but I agree the special effects were quite bad. especially natalie. also the dimitri/rose thing didnt feel real.
but it was way better than I expected it to be.

I agree the effects weren't quite how I had imagined it in my mind. The movie also seemed kinda crammed, like they were trying to put too much in but didn't have enough time. Still, it tried to stay true to the book so I'm seriously conflicted!! It was good!! But it wasn't good!!! :CCCCC
SO CONFUSED!

From the little I saw of it, the acting was atrocious. I might wait for it on DVD and borrow it from my friend.

I saw about 20 minutes of it while waiting for RoboCop showing at the cinema next door.

Haven't seen the movie yet, since it's not out in my country, but I (like I hope most fans do) hate Dimitri's actor. The PERFECT choice for Dimitri would have been the FABOLOUS Ben Barnes! He's like an exact replica of the Dimitri I have known from the books. +I have seen Dorian Grey and he did really well as an actor in it. Apologize for bad spelling or grammar.

Can't agree enough on that one! Dimitri wasn't right!!:(
