OOH! You could go themed with a six month challenge. Like break it up into notable races/Guest appearances, and don't limit it to just Original series. For example, have one category be about the Klingons: warrior race, society of houses (could be called clans *wink, wink*), prides itself on honor. Then do another section on the Romulans: Deceptive, manipulative, power-hungry. I'd love to see a fun category based on Q personally! He was always a favorite in Next Gen! But you shouldn't discount the Ferengi, the Dominion, the Borg, The Traveler, or tons of other races or "guest creatures".

I'd be happy to help out with this, if you'd like, Lanelle. (cringes slightly) I have several editions of the The Star Trek Encyclopedia as well as the complete set of the The Nitpicker's Guide for Classic Trekkers, which would include the Next Gen books too. One could make a reasonable argument that I'm a fan of the show....*looks away and blushes at the total geekery that I just showed*
