A dense forest somewhere in earth

~• The forest was cool and shaded the area from the heat. It was slightly dark, with the sun barely shining through the trees. Birds chirped from somewhere beyond, and footsteps of animals like deer could be heard.
It was autumn, and because of that, the forest was beautiful. The ground was decorated with leaves of yellow and brown.

Magnhild had decided to take temporary shelter in an enclosed area of trees in the forest, and was sleeping in a pile of leaves. She woke up immediately after hearing yelling somewhere in the distance. "Uck..." She sat up, pushing her back against a tree and recovering from her tiredness of just waking up. Magnhild was still dressed as a male instead of female, from the last time she was among her crew.

Arch walked into the cool forest, looking for some quiet away from everyone else. He turned up the collar of his jacket against the brisk wind. His feet crunched the colorful array of leaves on the ground.

Magnhild coughed softly and stood up. She rubbed the back of her head, staring through the trees and up into the sky. "Peaceful..." She said under her breathe, slightly smiling to herself. She sat back down against the tree, sighing and crossing her legs.

Arch walked farther into the forest. He kicked the leaves causing them to get thrown in the air. He walked keeping his head down and his hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket. He stopped to lift his face towards the breeze the wind ruffling his hair.

Magnhild immediately got up once she heard the sound of crunching leaves and footsteps. She narrowed her eyes, looking around the area.

Arch continued walking deeper into the forest, even as the sky grew darker. He sighed and thought about his day, and how many things he still had to do, how many things he should have done before, but didn't. He kicked the ground harder, getting frustrated, for no reason in particular.

"Is someone 'theh?" Magnhild said rather loudly, tilting her head. She walked out of the enclosed area and stared down the forest path.

Arch froze, he really didn't want to bump into someone right now. He debated on whether he could quickly leave without being noticed,but then he saw someone walking closer to him. He raised his hands. "Right here," he called out.

"What are you doin' here?" Magnhild said, holding her cutlass at her waist.

Arch eyed the women's cutlass. "Just walking. You know, enjoying the fresh air."

((She's dressed as a man and sound's like a man. Your character doesn't know she's female. ^.^))

Magnhild slightly smirked. "Ah, I see." She said gently, tilting her head slightly to the side.

((Oops sorry))
Arch, looked up from the cutlass. "Yeah, I seriously hope you do," he said. He nodded at the cutlass. "Do you always you always walk around with that?"

((It's alright. Just thought I'd tell 'ya.))

"Not always." Magnhild said, slightly laughing. "I'm not gonna kill 'ya or anythin', trust me."

Arch looked at him. The guy looked like he'd stepped out of a pirate movie. Something like Pirates of the Caribbean. "Trust," he muttered under his breath. "Yeah, right."

((Or... Assassin's Creed XD.))

Magnhild smiled. "Continue on, 'lad." She said, without any introduction.

((Shhhh! Same thing.))
'Continue on,' he thought. 'Who the heck says that?' "Uhh....hi," he said. "How are you....?"

((Wait, you've played Assassin's Creed or somethin'?))

"I meant continue on your way." Magnhild said, smiling again. "But hello, I'm doing fine."

((Sorry, no, I haven't))
"Uhh, okay," Arch said. He turned to walk away. "I'll...continue on my way?"

((Lol. I haven't played Black Flag myself.))

"Ah, you may. But just in case we meet again, I'm James." Magnhild replied, walking back into the enclosed area, trying to avoid the sharp branches.

((I've never even heard of Black Flag))
Arch stared after him, bemused. "James, huh?" He said. "I wonder who the heck he is?" Arch followed James as he left. He moved quietly making sure not to make any noise.

Magnhild sat down by the tree again and sighed, closing her eyes and relaxing slightly.

((CAN I STEAL YOUR CHARACTER??PLEASE!))
Arch watched as he sat down. He climbed a tree so that he could see better. He looked down as James closed her eyes and relaxed.

((No XD She's rather awesome though, huh? Just hoping I can play her well enough. She's only posing as James Kidd, though. But that makes her even more awesome.))

Magnhild heard him and smirked. "What do you need?" She asked, opening her eyes.

((Yes. Yes it does.))
'Oops,' he thought. He dropped down lightly on the ground in front of him. "Nothing."

"Do I have a fan?" Magnhild asked sarcastically, glancing over at Arch.

"Oh yes," he said just as sarcastically. "Can I have your autograph?"

Magnhild narrowed her eyes. "Why, sure." She said, slightly laughing.

Arch rolled his eyes. "Here," he said handing him an imaginary marker. "Sign my arm." He flashed his forearm at him.

Magnhild rolled his eyes back and crossed her arms. "Why is it you were spying on me?"

"I wasn't spying on you," he muttered under his breath. 'Just wondering who the heck you are,' he thought.

"I'm James Kidd, if you must know my last name." Magnhild said quietly, closing her eyes again.

"Umm....okay?" Arch said. He looked at James uncertainly as he closed his eyes.

Mary set her cutlass down beside her and folded her arms across her chest.

((I'm changing my character's name to Mary like in the game >.>))

Arch jumped back as James lay his cutlass down. He raked his brain for something to say.

"Are you just gonna sit here all day?" Mary asked, sighing.

"Well, you know technically, I'm standing," he said.

Mary shook her head. "Come on, that's the same bloody thing."

"Bloody thing? Did you just say bloody thing? What are you a pirate? A member of Jack Sparrow's crew?"

"Oh, I'm a pirate. But Jack Sparrow's out of the question. I'm a part of my own crew." Mary said softly, opening her eyes.

Arch blinked. "I was being sarcastic," he said. "But you know, that's okay. Meeting a pirate. Just a normal day, in my completely normal life."

((Hey.))

Mary smiled. "Ah, well, been awhile since I actually spoke to someone besides my crew."

Arch stared at him blankly. 'This is the weirdest conversation I've ever had. Ever,' he thought. "I thought pirate's went out of date a while ago?" 'Like a long while ago.'

"Nah, my 'lad. Not at all." Mary replied, standing up.

Arch looked at his own clothes, then at James's clothes. "Yeah, not at all," he muttered. He hastily backed away as James stood up.

"Ah, so jumpy. I'm not gonna kill 'ya or anythin'." Mary mumbled, climbing up into the tree and sitting down.

Arch debated on whether to follow James into the tree. In the end he climbed the tree infront of his so that he could face James's better.

"What do you want from me?" Mary asked, tilting her head.

"A laugh, a scare, entertainment. I'm so bored, that if someone asked me to jump of a cliff, I would do it."

"Go jump off a cliff." Mary said sarcastically, putting her hands on her knees.
