I like to let the work get out of control. I try to edit it back into some understandable form afterward. SometimesI'm the only one that thinks it's understandable.
Haha, that's funny. Kinda like when im doing a report and i have a paragraph, when i type the paragraph out it turns into two or three from me adding stuff on the spot to my final draft lol.
I'm definately a science fiction/fantasy type although regardless of the story it must have a lot of character drama. It is all about the characters.
I usually write about magic and other worlds but I occasionally write a story in some random person's point of view. The person never speaks in these stories, the whole thing is just about their thoughts and emotions.
I finally got a review of my first novel "From an Otherwise Comfortable Room" (shameless plug). Here's the first paragraph:Mr. Sakowski, you are a master of subjective details, philosophical musing, and deconstruction. This thought provoking book of yours can only be described as a cross between Burrough’s Naked Lunch and Alice in Wonderland. Our main character Willie “Om” Omkowski being the Mad Hatter of a sorts.
I'm going to take that as a positive. You can easily see from the review, I like to go pretty much where I want to when I write. Basically, character, plot, and style... most constructs of a typical novel, are up for grabs if my bi-polar mind elects to reach for them.

I like to write about war. It seems to unleash my passionate side upon my paper and just lavish the story with a good twist.
