Adam Passanisi | 3 comments This book is an autobiography by Michael Vick. He describes his life from humble beginnings, his crash and fall, and his redemption. He describes how he grew up in a poor town and had many negative influences around him. However, he would attend the local Boys and Girls Club, play sports, and read the Bible to avoid these. He was a star athlete even as a young kid and went on to play football in college and the NFL. He began as a humble player; however, through the fame and fortune of the NFL, he lost this humbleness and became a "me-man." After spending nearly two years in prison, he regained his humble beginnings and is now a "family-man" once again.

I greatly enjoyed this book and would give it 5/5 stars. I am an Eagles fan myself and liked learning more about Michael Vick's life. I also found this to be an expiring read and believe others would too. Michael described how even when times are tough, if you stay close to your family, friends, and God, you will make it through. I also enjoyed this book because it cleared up many negative fallacies against Michael. All in all, I believe this is a great book that many should read.
