Thanks for the invite Saloni. I'm reading Michael Selden's, The boy who ran. No one's reviewed it on GR yet, and it's really nice to be one of the first reviewers for a book.

Dracula is interesting. A lot of details and a little slow. I'm only about 40 pages in. I'm trying to spread the book over the month since it's for a group read.

I just finished Dracula last week and I've now moved into The Night Circus. Dracula was good and it definitely picks up pace after the first few chapters
Hi. I've only just started The boy Who Ran, and I'm really enjoying it. The book cover seems to tell a good portion of the story, and I love that. It is set about 6000 years ago and it's about a boy who is orphaned after a massacre and learns survival. Though it's aimed for a young audience, it's also great for older readers like me!!! the language is properly challenging, and I could see it becoming a popular book for use in schools.

That's the one! When you look closely at it you notice things, like the boy. His posture and shape are the same as the tree in which he's sitting. - The effect is that he's part of the tree/ part of nature. The author writes from various viewpoints including hinting at the animals thoughts which is a nice touch.

This is what it says on the book,
Samantha is a stranger in her own life. Until the night she disappeared with her best friend. Cassie, everyone said Sam had it all- popularity, wealth, and a dream boyfriend.
Sam had resurfaced, but she has no recollection of who she was or what happened that night. As she tries to piece together her life from before, she realizes it's one she no longer wants any part of. The old Sam took "mean girl" to a whole new level, and it's clear she and Cassie were more like best enemies. Sam is pretty sure that losing her memories is like winning the lottery. She's getting a second chance and being a better daughter, sister, and friend, and she's falling hard for Carson Ortiz, a boy who has always looked out for her- even when the old Sam treated him like trash.
But Cassie is still missing, and the facts about what happened to her that night aren't just buried deep inside of Sam's memory- someone else she knows, someone who wants to make sure Sam stays quiet. All Sam wants is the truth, and if she can unlock her clouded memories of that fateful night, she can finally move on. But what if not remembering is the only thing keeping Sam alive.
I'm writing my review for this book today, so hopefully I have it up by tonight or maybe tomorrow

Two more books I have read and reviewed lately, Santa Claus vs The Aliens by James Cardona and The Trials of Hercules by Tammie Painter, I have posted my reviews and recommend my fellow readers to check them out!
I read Gone Girl. While it's good technically, the content matter is too twisted and the swears too profuse to make it enjoyable.
I finished The God of Snow Cone Blue by Marcia Coffey Turnquist just a couple of days ago and I was so touched by this book I had to take a couple days to gather my thoughts for my review. Please feel free to read my review and then get hold of a copy to read, you will find that it will leave you with a lot to think about!!!
