Choose Me This! is actually pretty similar to the PIFM Challenge.

Rules
1. Sign Ups will be open until the 23rd of each month.
2. You have to answer a question (that will change each month), before you are allowed to participate.
3. After the sign ups are closed I'll publish the months themes. The books you pick for your partner have to match the theme. e.g.:
Sugary Sweet(A book you thought was really sweet. Maybe a love story or a really touching story about friendship. What you think is sweet is up to you :) )
Required shelves:
TBR, New Book
Here you'd have to pick two books that match the sweet theme. One from your partners TBR and one you read, but your partner doesn't know yet. I'll always add which shelves are required though.
4. You can define an other shelf, your partner should pick your books from, than TBR beforehand, if you want to.

I'm sorry... I'm a little unclear on how the book choosing works. Do I pick my partner's book from their to-read list and vice versa?

It depends on the "Required shelves" category.
If it's TBR you choose from the to-read list, but if it's New Book you can pick any book you like. Best is if it isn't on your partner's to-read list.
And your partner will do the same :)
