2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

Week 52: a book you started but never finished.
December 24 - December 30, 2015

This is the last category of the year! If there is a book you didn't finish, it will fit very well in this category. We just hope that this book was not enough compelling rather than being really bad. In the case you haven't an unfinished book and have left this topic for the last week, you can pick up a new book.

How to Create a Topic:
1. Create a topic in the appropriate folder using your book's author and title (Title by Author, please). Link your book with the "This topic is about" feature.

2. In the body of your post, comment about why you chose this book. Have you read it before? What are your expectations?

3. Feel free to use the thread as a way to update the group on your progress. Also, when you are finished reading, add a small review and your thoughts about the week's challenge.

4. Comment on everyone else's posts as well! Participation and group involvement will make this challenge so much fun!

No Book ideas

There are only two books I never finished: Crime and Punishment (started in 2014) and A Crown of Swords by Robert Jordan (the 7th book in The Wheel of Time series, started probably ten years ago). I don't know yet which one I'm going to tackle for this week!

Wow! It's so hard to believe that we've come to this point. It's kind of exciting and sad at the same time.

Ahhh I'm not looking forward to this week. For me all the books I haven't finished I didn't finish for a reason. Life is too short to read bad books! But oh well, I will try and pick one up again - I've got a handful to choose from in my didn't finish folder on my kindle.

I read Small Island (Andrea Leavy) for this week - now I acn't understand why I didn't stick with it originally!

I read (actually listened to) Crime and Punishment this year - the audio version I had wasn't great, wish I'd just read it!!
