I'm in favor of this.
I like:
YA
Speculative fic (includes fantasy and scifi)
ChickLit (judge away idec)
Classics (think Candide or Tales of Two Cities)
Plays (a la Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams)
Non-fiction humor (think Scott Adams books--see Dilbert and the Way of the Weasel--from the early 2000s).
Humorous autobiographies/biographies (a la Miranda Hart and Allie Brosh)
Modern classics (think Handmaid's Tale and Never Let Me Go)

Right now, I think we should suggest a whole bunch of specific genres and types (YA fiction, non-fiction humor, translated, zombie(prev. read by the group) reads, snark, etc.) for our second book of the month.
Then maybe we can have a poll to pick our genre, then do suggestions from there.
Does that sound good? I want to be able to dig into some books like weird stuff that we've found in the past.
