Welcome to our first BOTM challenges! Here's how it works; there are a whole lot of different challenges worth different amounts of points relating to the book. The person with the most points at the end of the month will be the winner, and will get the power to have one "down vote" for next month's books.
Notes: there will be separate winners and challenges for the book and series of the month

This month, the book is More Than This by Patrick Ness
Born in the USA - Find a book set in each of the 50 states (50 points)
Teacher of creative writing - Find two books with a character who wants to be a writer (10 points)
His books - Read a book, other than More Than This, by Patrick Ness (30 points)
Almost an award winner - Read another book that has won the Carnegie Medal (30 points)
Science fiction - Read another science fiction book (30 points)
All about Seth - Find five other characters named Seth (20 points)

16 years old - Find five other 16 year old characters (20 points)
Published in September - Find 6 other books published in September (of any year) (10 points)

Note: "Find" does not mean you have to read them! You simply have to comment the name of the book so we can check it off

When you find and read these books, simply comment them, posting a review or 3 progress updates if you have read them. You don't have to keep a progress post; we will post updates on the scores as often as possible, so you will be able to tell from there how well you are doing.
