I can only imagine how he feels. Knowing what he saw and having everyone think he's lost his mind and treat him like a crazy person. As if losing your grandfather wasn't enough. And feeling bad because even if it was "dogs" he had no weapons to defend himself. Poor thing. I'm glad he found that letter and is making the trip. I was a bit nervous when they tossed the box of pictures that they might be important.

This was such a hard chapter to read. I am really invested in the story already and I cannot wait to get to the island.
