I have recently rediscovered Dean Koontz's books, and this book is supposed to have some teary places.

I cried at the end of this one. I plan on crying when I finish the last Odd Thomas book Saint Odd
too.Though, his Sole Survivor
made me cry like a baby.
I read this for a different week and the ending had me tearing up a box of Kleenex. It's a great book!
I have just encountered the traditional plot twist. This is so disappointing. This book was enjoyable up until now. I am going to push through hoping that it will not detract from the story, but add to it.Why did he have to add such an obvious story line?(Sigh)
I stuck with it and did end up enjoying it. I was slightly misty eyed at the end. I do not think I will be reading more of this series though.
I agree with you. The ending was a treat ... As much as sadness can be. While I loved the book I didn't think I care enough to continue the series.
I think this is only my second Dean Koontz book that I have read and both were this year for this challenge. I enjoyed the book right up until the end when it made me cry. Up until that point I had thought that I might continue with the series, but now I am not so sure if I will.
