*cue X-Files music*
From reading the first book, what do you think some of the *important* things will be in the rest of the series? What will happen with them? Why do you think this?

Obviously, spoilers for Air Awakens in this thread.

I'll start us off.

For whatever reason, I have every passage that Vhalla is offered/drinks tea highlighted in my eBook version.

I feel like when she doesn't drink the tea she isn't being influenced but there is some sort of magical influence on her to make decisions that Minister Victor wanted her to make.

I think he is shady; I don't trust him or his tea.

Lauren | 4 comments I don't know about the tea, good theory though! But I definitely don't trust Minister Victor. He is shady as all get out in my opinion. He's hiding something, wonder when we will find out what.

I actually don't find him all that shady, to be honest :) I think that he definitely has an agenda, but I don't think that it's malicious. More curious :)

I'll be interested to hear your findings though, Jamie!!

anjuli (pintobean) | 37 comments I agree as well (so far). I don't find Victor shady. However, I'm sure he definitely has some agenda. Now whether that agenda is good or bad time will tell.

Kolo | 2 comments I'm curious about the "bond" between Vhalla and Aldrik. If Vhalla die does Aldrik also die, there were hints of something happening to Aldrik if Vhalla was eradicated so.... yeah.

message 8: by Stacy (new)

Stacy | 1 comments okay, so here is what i think. aldrik is still alive because of the bond. also, in all the fantasy books i have read like raised by wolves, vampire academy, etc that had bonding. usually the person that is the most healthiest takes on some of the healing. take raised by wolves brain bonds with a wolf they both get hurt. Brian heals wolf first than herself. also, in vampire academy rose takes on all of princess emotions and pain until someone tries killing princes and rose starts to die and brakes bond. so, overall i think from all the reading i have done already aldrick is alive. also, the elsa has vhalla ask aldrik in the first book what would happen if one of them was badly hurt/dieing.
