I'm only about 10% into it, but I'm enjoying it. And that's saying something coming from a girl who almost never reads non-fiction. Lol! ;)

I am currently reading
which is an AWESOME series! I am also reading a memoir
by Rob Lowe. This is his second memoir and I LOVE it! He is such a great guy. He even favorite my Tweet when I said I was in the middle of his book. I freaked out!!
I've developed this awful habit as of late where I start a book, then find three others I just have to read at the same moment as well.. So I'm in the middle of a few right now. Not many novels lately. Absolutely in love with "becoming myself" by Stasi Eldridge. Very focused on developing OUR identity in Christ & being ok while you're on the way to where you're going. My favorite thing she's said so far is that shame is never an agent for change. No matter how awful we may feel about ourselves or even sin it our lives, change can't begin with condemnation. We've been set free from that! It's only thru the power & healing of the Big HS that growth comes. :)
I know what you mean, I was doing the same thing. But I decided in the new year to cut somethings out of my life and one of the things I really missed was reading, so I'm trying really hard to polish of the books again. But I've got so many great books on my list, I want to read them all! :P
That sounds like an awesome book and that is sooo true. I really needed to hear that right now, so thank you for passing it along. :)

Thanks, Madi! :) It has been a long time, hasn't it? I hadn't realized how long it had been until I scrolled up looking for my last comment.
Lol I know it! I just got back on in Jan. after not for like 5 months. I keep up with you on Pinterest, but it's good to chat with ya here too!

I like your new profile pic, Madi-- it's cute! ;)
by Allison Pittman this is a pretty great book so far. I have read another one of her books and was very happy to see that she had more out.
@aerykah well it's good to hear from you again! and thank you, it was time to change up profile pics. :)

Just finished Harry Potter #1 for the first time. I actually liked it, but I do have to say...I cheated and watched the movies first.
so true! lol. you can tell who someone is simply by their pins. I love your pins under your blog board, Caro's style board & Aerykahs humor one. Always something interesting at the end of a week.. I've never read the Harry Potter books. do you recommend them?
Haha! You're so right, madi. ;) Funny that you should pick my humor pins... ;P Personally, I really like your book & quote ones. :)And anyone who pins sarcastic stuff..? I'll probably follow that board. hehe! ;P
@ Aerykah, that's so funny. on my quotes board, I literally pin such randomness.. it works I suppose. Pinterest is literally such a haven for me. my roommates make fun of me b/c its such a destresser. but whatever, forget them! lol I follow a few ppl who have sarcasm ones, but nothing amazing
So.... Right now, I'm still reading
(almost finished!) and
Also almost finished with

Now I'm reading "The club of queer trades". Another brilliant Chesterton book.
I'm now reading Short Story Writing. Instructional nonfiction isn't my preferred genre, but this has some good ideas.
Haven't had much time for fiction/fantasy lately. But I'm reading some other really good books.
