I recommend Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
Every Last Word by Tamara Ireland Stone
Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma
Or, if we're doing a Horror theme because, October, maybe Horns by Joe Hill? He's Stephen King's son.

Awesome recommendations, Teagan/Isaac! Those books sound like great choices!

I suggest that we read:
1. The Call of Cthulhu and At the Mountains of Madness (two separate little stories) by H. P. Lovecraft (we could actually do a little separate read-along since these are both under 90 pages long (in my edition) if anyone is interested!)
2. The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
3. World War Z by Max Brooks
4. On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony
5. Horns by Joe Hill
6. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
7. The Cosmic Puppets by Philip K. Dick (the synopsis says that it kind of reads like an episode of Twilight Zone!)

Horns by Joe Hill is honestly one of my favourite books of all time. I wouldn't mind re-reading it in October if I have the time :')
I suggest:
1. Wait Till Helen Comes by: Mary Downing Hahn
2. Dark Souls by: Paula Morris
3. Bad Girls Don't Die by: Katie Alender
4. Frankenstein by: Mary Shelley
