Let's talk about chapters 1-7 of Fight Club! Remember: spoilers up to chapter seven are welcome!

Chapter 6: "Marla and Tyler are never in the same room."
"Marla looks at me as if I'm the one humping her and says, 'I can't win with you, can I?'"
"Not a sound, not a smell, Tyler's just appeared."
Hmmm . . . seems like multiple personality disorder (or DID).

I've read this book a million times. I'll keep it without spoilers, just comments.

Such an explosive first chapter, pun intended.

There is something that pulls you in reading the Narrator compared to a name.

"skeleton dipped in yellow wax" is providing me the best imagery.

The chapters seem to have no flow what so ever together but yet blend beautifully.

I am Jack's is such a powerful section for me. I am Jack's everything quotes are all over my wall, and all in my life. I wish there was a spin off of the stories about Jack.
