Okay, I LOVE Genya, like seriously LOVE her. She is awesome and is a great friend to Alina.

You have no idea how thankful I am that this has not spoiled anything .. I will post my 6-10 comments after I get home and start reading right away

ok .. so YA .. in case I haven't been clear in my previous statement,,

I AM THANKFUL !!!! that I have not been spoiled ..

the Zoya B**** .. I love how she was torched early on because of what she did .. I don't know I just felt like this kind of gave Alina a chance to show her how she could kind of stand her own ground .. and how botkin (i kind of like him and his english) stood up for her against his star pupil ..

YA .. I COMPLETELY AGREE ON GENYA BEING AN AWESOME FRIEND!! how she found Mal's location for Alina .. how she made that snotty little @#$@$#% (I mean who just walks up to people and say they reek just because she is from modest origin and has outstanding potential??) .. but ya .. and how she warns her off .. OH OH OH !!! and her crush on david is SO CUUUUUUTE (forgot to mention that in the previous chapters ,,, but yup .. I think genya would be ok with david ,, maybe alexei even)

The darkling .. now this person .. has two sections .. this is the first .. dude just seems like a 20-30 year old .. i've thought this before… but when you give me a couple of "steamy" scenes .. with him seeming so .. lost ?? .. it messes with my conception of wisdom with age .. but I liked how he forced himself to make Alina wear black for the party ..


Which brings me to the performance ..
I kid you not .. I was kind of thinking of Frozen's "Let it go"
during the entire thing .. especially the finale .. It just sounded so amazing and she seemed to be having so much fun that night ..


So when her long awaited meeting with Mal occured?? the Mal she was so heartbroken over for thinking he abandoned her? to the point she sort of unleashed the light she locked within her?? I was conflicted .. I had a feeling he wasn't getting the letters .. but still .. it's kind of clear they're on different levels now .. but .. I don't know .. I understand his anger .. but Alina was not exactly at fault either .. let's just say … in the wise words of facebook: "it's complicated"

I must say I still think that priest dude is weird .. I will not let this slide .. totally weird and creepy


back to the darkling (I think i want to call him shadow) .. part two ..



AMAZING PLOT TWIST !!!!!!

That being said .. I had a feeling .. but at the same time .. I don't think this is completely true .. I'm more thrilled by the fact that the crazy old lady is his mom XD XD XD that was my own plot twist take ..

Had he really planned what she said he had? I don't know .. it's possible .. Do I believe it? no .. i think it's too easy .. I might be biased cuz I sort of started liking him sense he IS the mysterious figure prince charming whatever .. but no .. I'm gonna follow my gut on this ..

Although interesting enough .. since i'm sure there would be teams .. team mal would be happy with this predicament .. and see hope for them in the future ,, that's probably the point of disclosing this at this point since the book is about to finish .. with it being a series and all

But ya .. I felt really bad for her .. having to face all of this hard issues in the one night she allowed herself to feel radiant ..

So good job on her getting a grip .. whether this may be a trap or not .. after a long night of heartbreaks .. YOU GO GIRL!!!

Thus concludes my rambling .. I'll open up a thread for the next chapters and start reading in 3.5 hours <3 ..

I remember watching catching fire (which morons kept calling hunger games 2) .. for the second time ..

and when it ending dude was like "NO!! NO!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! THIS IS NOT WHERE THEY TRY TO END THIS!!"

I remember thinking "well someone obviously hasn't read the book and waited for mockingjay .. wonder what happens when he finds out that book's being split to 2 movies"

(note: UG has never read any of the books, nor has she watched the first movie. Me and my friends go together and stuff since we have actually read the books at least 10 times)

I found more depth in the book then what was portrayed in the movie ..

I've been wanting to buy this book online from amazon .. it's actually a part of the study trilogy? .. I can find all of them but second one .. (since i have to have them all in matching covers .. you know how it goes with us collectors) ..

Only I'd have to buy it from second sellers and they only ship to US zip codes.. you think I could order it and send it to your place and maybe you can ship it to me?

There is a reason I dont buy from Amazon: I suck at it.

Now I don't know if there was ever some Amazon buying training class, but if there was, I wasn't present.

I tried buying once from book depository and I could not understand anything.

There is a reason I stick to Kinokuniya in Dubai mall and the kindle store.

PS- Book depository has free shipping and it usually has most books in hardcover, if you request them, they'll check there warehouse and inform you.

PPS- I understand that you want a matching set. I have the razorbill cover for Legend and the other cool blue one with the bird for Prodigy. They arent the same and literally cringe whenever I see them. Thats why I pushed Legend into the back.

I love kinu .. but since i'm in AD … the long distance is a bit of a hastle .. + the don't have all of my books .. that's why I order it myself .. I used to deal with magrudy's .. but the branch closest to me has this douche lady so I just stopped going there .. well sometime i do .. when i'm desperate ..

Anyhow .. I'll check the book depository if I can request it .. I've dealt with them before .. though they lost a box set I bought once .. but generally they're ok

same here ,, try waking up 8 .. i'm at chapter 16 .. and it's really making me sad .. she was just starting to fit in and once again she had to leave everything behind
