Here is our challenge for the month of September!

Random TBR Challenge
1. Sort TBR by date added and read the book that appears third
2. Sort TBR by number of pages and read a book between 200-300 pages
3. Sort TBR Alphabetically by title and read the first book that starts with the letter ‘S’
4. Sort TBR by Publication Date and read a book that appears in the top 5 oldest books published
5. Sort TBR by Publication Date and read a book that appears in the top 5 most recent books published
6. Sort TBR by Average Rating and read a book that has a rating of 4.0 or higher

Collect 5 points for each book read. Multiple books can be read for each criteria, ie; if you read two books that start with an ‘S’ you get 5 points each.

Bonus Points:
* Read 1 book from each criteria – 20 points
* Read 2 books from each criteria – 40 points
* Read 3 books from each criteria – 60 points!

I've been very remiss in this group so I might try and do some of this challenge.
1. The Remains of the Day
2. Addition
3. Salinger although this is a massive book and I probably won't get to it.
4. A Christmas Carol
5. TBA. Is it cheating if I choose one that hasn't been published yet? I will have an ARC of The Natural Way of Things

I don't consider it cheating. You can't get more recent than not yet published!

Finished my first, number 2 Addition . 217 pages and a 4 star read for me. Started no.6, book rated over 4 stars.This House of Grief

That's great Elaine. I'm really struggling to get good reading time in right now

That happens sometimes Michelle. I'm on a bit of a roll at the moment but I think that has as much to do with what I'm reading as how much. Although I think I may only fit in another one for this challenge.

Read my third and I'm pretty sure my last for this challenge. A Christmas Carol . A 4 star read. So I think my total is 15 points but that's 3 less books on my TBR so I'm happy.

Congratulations Elaine it looks as if you got the most points this month by knocking three books off your TBR!

Thanks Michelle and it did help me get a bit closer to my goal of reading 70 books this year!!! Look forward to seeing what the October challenge will be. :)
