One of the later Christie's. The book shows her age in that there is a good plot hidden here, but not terribly well executed. Enjoyable, though, with Tommy and Tuppence.

I've almost finished this one for the second time - it's just as good as the first! I'm obsessed with Tommy & Tuppence, they're one of my favourite fictional couples. They're so beautifully paired and they balance each other out perfectly. They bounce off each other well too and I enjoy their friendly banter. On a side note, I found some Tisane (a drink of our favourite little Belgian), and I'm excited :)
I really liked this. I have read only the first Tommy & Tuppence book from serie and this was much better.

Isn't a Tisane a kind of herbal tea?
I enjoyed the T and T series. They are a great pair. And you feel their sense of adventure. This mystery was a bit different for me. I was reeled in quickly and then was not surprised by the ending but was taken a little by surprise how much I cared about the characters.
