WW II Spy Novels discussion

I keep encountering amazing, no one knows about, incredible WWII operations which should be top books or movies.

What ones do you know about? Name some!

I've always wanted to write something about the Winter War--not one operation, necessarily; but the initial conflict in '39-40.

Will probably never do it, so somebody else should.

You mean the one in Finland? Or what the Brits called, 'the Phony War'?

No, Finland. Pretty amazing what the Finns were able to do outnumbered 40-1 and outgunned as well.

Pretty sure the Phony War was when the French Army sat behind the Maginot line through the summer of '40 while the Wermacht was in Poland and Germany was close to defenseless in the west.

That's the one, yes. Agreed, much respect to the Finns. A proud people.
