2016 book suggestions.

Categories for book selection.

1. 250 pages or less.

2. 500 pages or more.

3. A book from the Rory Gilmore List.

4. The Man Booker prize winner from 2015. A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James

5. The Pulitzer prize winner for Fiction 2015. All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

6. A Goodreads Choice Award winner from any category from 2015.

7. A book that you want to re-read.

8. A book from your towering to read pile.

9. Judge a book by it's cover, a book you want to read because of it's cover art.

10. A book due to be released in 2016.

11. A book with a one word title.

12. I have only watched the Movie! A book adapted for the silver screen, you have seen the movie but not read the book.

A book that I want to re-read (7) "Fugitive Pieces" by Anne Michaels.

Love the idea of "Dead Poets Society" for no. 12 - I didn't even know that was a book!

Yay, great to see some new suggestions. I will set up the polls around early to mid December for the categories with multiple suggestions. Then we should have our books for 2016.

Nice selections! I read the hunchback and the American tragedy few years ago and I would re-read them :)

Atonement is a brilliant book, well worth a read.

This tread will close on the 10th of December with the polls opening on the same day for our 2016 choices.

Great to see lots of new suggestions, looking forward to seeing the results.

Anyway roll up roll up last chance to make some suggestions, checkout the Goodreads Choice awards to select a winner from any category (that is if you like the look of any of the winners)
