What about White Wolf & The Swords of Night and Day?

It looks like those two are in the Drenai series but also at the start of other series? (I just looked.) Hero looks interesting!

I'll be joining later in the month, I'm also reading the other two books. On the author page, it lists Waylander as a separate series and we read them so...

I'd be ok with continuing on! I'm a little behind - life in August swamped me, but I'm determined to finish this series (and I'm enjoying it).

I'm almost finished with HitS. Once again, a pretty good Waylander/Drenai novel.

Life has swamped me too; teaching, writing an essay, marking... Not touched a book in a week :(

We'll carry on reading then. Maggie won't mind and we can always post our own threads :)

I've always enjoyed Gemmell's work.

I'm finally starting this. Malazan 6 took ages.

About 13% in, I'm not feeling it. I've put it down to mooch here.

Probably hard to get into anything after Malazan. I need to start soon - behind but I THINK I may start getting a bit more time - hoping to anyway.

Lol! I finished and enjoyed it. There were moments when I'd feel that it'd be nice to have a different lead character though. The end was a bit tear-jerking.

I'm reading as much as I can - I got my library books done and returned now - all of my holds that I made the past 6 months seemed to come in last month.... Anyway, I like seeing what happened to Waylander - and I like the home he built for learning, etc. I have a feeling the trouble is on the horizon though =0

Well I could tell you but...

Actually said really goning to miss this saga really wish an Author would pic them up so many good books can still come from this

Sword in the Storm

Late to the party but SO glad for this series. David Gemmell ranks as one of my favorite authors of all time and his passing was a great sadness. I can only hope to be half as good a writer as he.
