Lex sat on the steps, watching a tiny spider spin a web. She had strange little habits such as this, where she could sit totally still, making no noise and just watch. To the group, the young girls mind was a complete mystery.
Kayleigh was on the top of the stairs in deep thoughts while staring at the ceiling. Inside her mind, she's still battling with rage and she felt abandoned in some ways. She's still trying to make some new friends, but it wasn't going well.
Lex glanced up the stairs, looking at Kayleigh. She stood up and sat went to sit next to her, looking at her with silent but intelligent eyes. She had seen the girl around, but never had spoken to her.
Kayleigh saw the girl, but she never spoke to her. She was afraid of trying to say something. It's not that she's mean to other kids. It's just that she knows that not everyone understands her.
Kayleigh looked at the note. "Hello."
Lex gave her a tiny smile, her eyes showimg a curiosity. She could tell something was bothering the older girl, and Lex was always willing to listen when it was needed. I will listen, if you wanna talk Lex wrote, showing the note to Kayleigh once again.
"Yeah. There's something I need to let out, but I never talk about it. Well, I need to let it out." Kayleigh said. It was better to talk about it then living in a nightmare,
"When I was baby, all I remember was faces of disproval, I lived in the orphanage until I was around 5-years-old. From age 2-4, I was laughed at and blamed at for no reason. The lady said my real last sounded that I was cursed. Nobody believed me. On my 5th birthday, I ran away from the orphanage, thinking that the curse was the cause, but it was my mind saying that. And that's when the Forgotten Gang found me. And here I am, still looking for friends that'll understand me." Kayleigh explained.
Lex nodded, she somewhat understood how it felt, how it felt to be the one singled out. You have a new better family here, with us Lex wrote, giving Kayleigh another tiny smile. She hoped that by talking, Kayleigh felt better.
For the first time, Kayleigh smiled at Lex. "You know, talking things out does make someone feel better. It's like having the weight off your shoulders."
Lex smiled a bit more nodding, she had seen it happen with others from the group, but Lex hadn't been able to find the words to describe what was constantly going on in her mind You can always come and talk to me, I'm always around
Lex silently nodded in agreement, it was nice to have met someone. Very few people seemed to notice her, so to have possibly made a friend felt nice.
Kayleigh knows that Evan is like a sibling to her, but she knows that he doesn't like talking about his past. Kayleigh wondered if there's a possibility if everyone would get along and live as a huge family that'll never be forgotten.
Hope ran towards the stairs giggling, she had been a holy terror for her father the whole morning. She climbed about halfway up and waited for her father to figure out where she was, an evil little smile on her face.
That's Hope, she's Darius's daughter Lex wrote, few may know her, but Lex was good about knowing everyone else.
((Kayleigh would know Darius, he's been there a long time))

(Yeah. She does.)
Evan was about to go down stairs, but he noticed some people. The first person that he recognized was Kayleigh. Everyone else, he was still working who was who.
"She's so cute." Kayleigh said with a smile.

Hope turned and smiled brightly at the group "Hi!" She exclaimed cheerful, clamoring up the rest of the steps.
"Hope?" Darius called from what sounded like down the hall.
((Gtg bed))

(Ok.)
Evan sat down next to Kayleigh.
"Hi. I think the stairs has become a chatting room." Kayleigh said.

Lex smiled silently at that.
Darius's head peeked around the corner "Hope get down here now, I'm not putting up with youe behavior anymore" Darius said, sounding frustrated and tired.
Hope giggled again "You haven't caught me Daddy" Hope replied, staying at the top of the stairs, making it clear that he would have to catch her.

Evan scooted closer to Kayleigh. He was still nervous when other people's voice gets to frustration or close to threatening.
"It's ok, Evan. I was like that years ago." Kayleigh said referring to her nervousness form long ago.

Darius took a deep breath, calming himself down, getting annoyed with Hope never worked. "Alright then Little Miss, I'm coming to get you" He said, with a smile. He darted up the stairs, catching his 4 year old.
Hope giggled wildly "Daddy you caught me!" She exclaimed joyfully, hugging her dad tighly.

Evan and Kayleigh watched in silence, but with a smile.
Darius set Hope on his hip and started back down the stairs "You can play later Hope, roght now you need to get dressed and out of your pajamas" Darius said to her.
Hope waved bye to the 3 on the stairs.

Kayleigh watched as the shadows disappeared from the scenery and Evan stared at the walls in deep thoughts.
(Where else should we go in this RP?)
Erica walked up behind the group, she barely glanced at any of them, as she went to sit halfway down the stairs. She started picking at a scar on her arm, knowing she couldn't get away with cutting herself when others were around.
Lex watched Erica with a worried look, the silent girl had seen Erica hurting herself before and it worried her.

Kayleigh knew a girl from the orphanage years ago before joining the Forgotten Group. The girl was Aliegha and she was trying to harm herself by secretly drinking wine at night. But that was another old memory of hers.
Evan looked at Kayleigh in concern, but he knew that it was another of Kayleigh's old memories.

Erica turned to give Lex a glare, feeling eyes on her "Quit looking at me!" She hissed, she hated seeing the concern in Lex's eyes, because she didn't know how to except it.
Lex simply raised an eyebrow, the way Erica spoke had no effect on the blonde girl. She had heard that tone many times, and had become desensitized to it.

Evan flinched and ran to hide in the dark corner in the hallway.
Kayleigh stood up and left the stairs. She hated harsh tones. She went to find Evan.

Lex moved down the steps the steps to sit next to Erica, watching her out of the corner of her eye. She wanted to help the new girl, it was in her nature to help everyone. You wanna talk about it? Lex wrote, showing it to Erica. She already had guessed the answer though.
"Not really, but you're bot going to leave till I do are yah?" Erica replied, stopping the picking, turning to face Lex fully.
Lex gave a nod, in answer to Erica's questions.
"Fine, I was stupid. I thought that he loved me, but he didn't. No one loves me, neither of my parents did, he didn't and Jonah probably won't either. I'm a waste of space, I've only done one good thing in life, but if I stay I'm going to corrupt that too" Erica said, her tone harsh and guarded.
Lex listened, much like always. Your son won't hate you Lex showed her the statement.
"You don't know that...so now that I've talked about me, what about you? Why are you so quiet?" Erica countered, turning it on Lex.
It doesn't matter, and we are talking about you not me. My lack of speech has nothing to do with why you are hurting Lex wrote, not ready to talk about the nightmares which caused her not to talk.
