Ok so they plan they had for Arobynn was genius. I'm not going to lie though, I slightly freaked out when Arobynn put the ring on Aelin, but then everything turned out ok. That's so creepy that he wanted her as his little toy.

I'm glad Arobynn is dead now, and that lysandra was able to kill him. But the trick Aelin pulled with the will was pretty awesome, how does she get away with these things. I did kinda feel bad that lysandra will be indebted even longer though.

Now the duke is demanding a blackbeak coven. Oh boy, this is not going to end well.

I a. So frustrated that Aelin can't see that Rowan actually cares for her the same she cares for him. That scene when there were close and then Rowan pulled away, broke my heart.

All that stuff they found in the catacombs...ugh CREEPY! And the Gavin story was a lie! And now we know what the king wants to do with his army! Raise a freaking valg KING?! Oh boy, this keeps getting worse and worse.

Omg it's getting so crazy! I mean the story just keeps growing and getting more and more intense.

I completely disagree with everything I've said before this point. Lol. If that makes me a hypocrite I don't care.

The whole Arobyn stuff! Omg!!! I wish that his death would have been longer though.

The scene from Rowan's POV was so heartbreaking. My favorite line was when he said, "That scent had always struck him, had always been a call and a challenge. It had shaken him so thoroughly from centuries encased in ice that he'd hate her at first. and now.. now that scent drove him out of his mind."

I am so glad we finally found out Aelin's big plan. I think Clarisse is going to end up dead or at least I hope.

I'm waiting for Manon and the Blackbeaks to say enough witches don't answer to humans.

That stuff with Gavin and the Valg King! OMG!

This section is by far my favorite part of the book. I was upset with the beginning but now it's finally gotten good and I don't want it to end. Lol.

Can I also add that the King must be like the biggest creeper in the world to have found all this stuff out. I mean dude didn't even have a life.
