Katrina (katrinasreads) This book is a crossover book, but is on sale in the adult department of my local bookstore - I think teenage readers 13+ would enjoy the read.
Fiona is living in Scotland in a tenement block, she is obsessed with Emily Bronte. We watch her progress from 14 to 18, her interests change and her life has dramatic upheavals including the death of her mother.
Its a book about growing up, being yourself and finding love. A good Sunday afternoon read

I have this coming in a book ring soon (I hope). Cant wait to read it. I loved her Buddha Da, written in Glasgow dialect, but understandable and lots of fun. My review here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

This too would be good for 13+ readers.

Am on page 30 of Being Emily and I like the gentle way she introduces the difficult topics. Fiona, the main character, is coming to grips with school work, family, falling in love and sexuality.
