History: Emerson and Aaron were both born under the care of their Moroi parents. Emerson discovered his element specialization when he was three. Aaron never discovered his element specialization, and he would often see his younger brother playing with water, and creating wondrous images and creatures from rain puddles. Aaron was often upset, and jealous because of this, but he couldn’t stay mad at his brother because his brother always reminded Aaron of how he was much greater than himself. Then Aaron would laugh, and he would insist that Emerson was better than Aaron in actuality. The two could never stay mad at each other, and would often everything with one another. One of the most entertaining things that they would do is trick people into believing that they were the other twin. At the night of a party filled with other Moroi and Dhampirs, the Night twins attended, and ended up being very intoxicated after the party hadn’t been going on for more than an hour. The two left the party, and while they staggered toward their home, they leaned on each other drunkenly and rambled on about how they loved and hated each other. The two came home, and were immediately brought out of their drunken state when they found the front door to their home kicked down, and a group of Strigoi standing in their living room. The body of their father lay on the ground with blood pooling out from under him, and their mother was in the clutches of a greedy Stigoi. Emerson was in shock at the sight of this, and since Aaron wasn’t as effected for reasons unknown, he took action immediately and attacked the group of Strigoi. The Strigoi outnumbered Emerson six to one, even after Emerson had managed to kill one of them even though he had no prior training to handling these creatures. Emerson finally snapped out of his trance of shock when he realized that his brother needed help. Emerson wasn’t as strong as his brother, and was soon down on his knees, with his arms pinned behind his back. The Strigoi who seemed to be the leader looked down at Emerson with a leer in his eyes, then he smirked and said “If this is what passes for a vampire today, you Moroi are even more weak then I remembered.” Aaron who had been injured greatly by the other Strigoi suddenly laughed at the comment made, which made all the Strigoi, including Emerson, look over at him like he was crazy. “We’re weak? You clearly have no power or strength if you’re attacking a defenseless pair of Moroi. The Strigoi are the weak ones,” he said then he spit blood in the direction of the head Strigoi from his bleeding lip. The head Strigoi was silent for a moment, then he grinned at Aaron. “Well then, maybe our kind just needs a little extra strength,” he said. The other Strigoi caught onto what their leader was saying, then they suddenly grabbed Aaron and they slit his throat. Emerson shouted and thrashed around in the grip of the Strigoi who was holding him while he watched his brother slowly die in front of him. The head Strigoi suddenly bit into his wrist and forced his bleeding hand onto Aaron’s mouth. Aaron finally stopped moving, then the Strigoi holding him threw him to the ground like he was trash. Suddenly the house began to shake, and Emerson cried angry tears. “I want you all out of my house. NOW,” he demanded then all the Strigoi shriveled up and became molten like skeletons and collapsed onto the ground.
