What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I'm trying to identify a book that my ten year old daughter had read to her at school a few years ago, and she says she would like to read again - so it was read around 2012, I think. It was a picture book and all she can really remember about it is a scene that she thought was very funny - a boy standing up in a bath so you could see his bare bottom. It was definitely a kid's book, nothing at all questionable. It might have been Australian, but that's just based on where we live - there's plenty of kids books from other countries sold here.

I think I know the book but do not know the author or title. For added information, I think the boy in question was almost scalded by a bath heater out of control and was definitely Australian. Maybe that will prompt some more memories from somebody.

The Lady with the Alligator Purse has a picture where you can see the boy's bottom, but he's not standing up. If you look at the Amazon preview, you can see it.
