Bangladeshi book lovers discussion

I'm new to goodreads. So I will be welcoming any suggestion to make this group interactive. Thnx in advance.

There are many books by Bengali authors who are writing in English as well! I just purchased Baghdad Immortals by Saad Z Hossain from www.rokomari.com It was very easy to do-no credit card hassel and just cash on delivery in Bangladesh! There are a lot of great books from Bangladesh right now and it is very exciting! Tagore, Zia Haider Rahman, Monica Ali, Shazia Omar, Farah Ghuzanavi, Srabonti Narmeen Ali and many books from the Daily Star, my favorite being The Daily Star Book of Bengali Writing href="http://rokomari.com/book/91395" you can purchase for just 128 taka at your door when it is delivered! I have read some of these books and they really are so good! I read them with relish and maybe we can read it as a group and discuss what we liked or disliked or whether it was real or anything! The Dhaka Lit Festival is coming up and some great authors are coming! V.S Naipaul will be here!~ and also Ghalib Islam one of my favorite new authors! I have a copy of Fire In the Unnameable Country and i'm going to try to get it signed! Registration is on October 1st so all book lovers sign up! I am reading The Color Purple by Alice Walker. It is such a powerful book, so violent, haunting and so touching. It is a powerful classic!
