2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I just finished reading Deceptions by Kelley Armstrong and as I read the last page I realized that I could use it in this challenge! Not that it took me the whole book to see the love triangle, just took me that long to remember that was a week in this challenge. lol

It's the 3rd book in her Cainsville series so I hadn't planned to use it for anything other than fun reading. But this book fits very neatly into the love triangle week.

I am new to this group (I saw your thread on the discussions page for the book), so I don't know if I'm doing this right, but I could not give up the opportunity to talk about the Cainsville series!

I know there have been complaints about the triangle in this book, but I actually loved the plot element introduced. I also thought it was perfectly in line with the characters' personalities. Everything was slowly revealed, which I appreciated. I am biased when it comes to the triangle (firmly rooted on the Gabriel side). I do like Ricky, and can understand why Olivia would like him (and him her), but to me it just feels temporary and I can not get behind their pairing.

I tried to keep things vague with my post-- I'll probably add more spoilerish comments later. I am interested in hearing other people's thoughts-- Cainsville is an amazing series!
