Kris Calvin (kriscalvin) | 7 comments My mystery/thriller ONE MURDER MORE was among the first titles published by Inkshares. Post-crowdsourcing, Inkshares has also given me great support in marketing! While approaches will vary dependent upon your target market and other things, in my case one strategy has been free giveaways of the hardback via random entry for Goodreads members only. Please consider entering and adding my book to your "to-read" shelf, thanks! https://www.goodreads.com/giveaway/sh...
Who knows, you may win a free copy—with 50 being given away the odds are pretty good. Thanks! Kris

Yicheng Liu (liu0019) | 229 comments I would just like to take the time to also say: Wow, being one of the first published Inkshares author is...that's like royalty(in a sense)! Congrats and good luck if you plan on doing any more writing. :)

Also, since I don't live in america...I can't enter it. So I have to say I can't really do anything here.

Entered it!

That's a great tip for those of us heading towards published author status. Thanks so much for sharing!

E (em166) I'd enter but I'm not huge fan of mystery/murder books, so I'm going to leave my entry out for someone who loves that genre.

It's awesome to see your success! Belated congrats btw hehe.

Kris Calvin (kriscalvin) | 7 comments Thanks all for your supportive comments! BTW, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about successfully crowdsourcing—I ran for local political office and used many of those campaign techniques to gain backers. I think I'll start another thread for that and see if folks have any interest... Thanks again!
